The poor framerate performance kept me from getting this game. I was wondering if it performs better on the new 3ds. Has anyone given it a try?

It was made long before the new 3ds was made, and as such, it wasn't programmed to recognize it.

In other words, it doesn't ask for the extra power, so it doesn't use it.

It's possible to "force" the N3DS to improve performance on older titles if you are willing to mess with softmoding. Use Google if you're interested.

Thanks.

Just btw how is the demo performancewise? Does it represent the game at its worst or best?

I say it's about the same.

The performance depends a lot on the part you're playing, some times it's perfect, other times it's like playing in slow motion.

For what it's worth, I had no issues playing it on an original 3DS (I haven't played it on another platform though, so I have nothing to compare it to).

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
