The title explains itself. I have heard that the frame rate is not very good on Old 3DS, which is why I specified.

I thought that was one of the few games listed as a "New 3DS Exclusive".

I am just learning that this game had a physical release on the 3DS, go figure.

That said, it's not New 3DS Exclusive, but it'll perform significantly better on that system.
The game was heavily cut down to work on the 3DS system it's an impressive feat, but it's based on a much older mobile version of the game and will be lacking a lot of the content and improvements of later versions.

I wouldn't bother getting the 3DS version now personally, it's readily available on lots of devices, but the best experience is still on PC no matter what sort of PC you have. It's also the most affordable version as it regularly goes on sale.

The pc version’s better, and runs on any modern pc.

@WaterPhish Last year I bought Terraria for the 3DS. And I played it on Old 3Ds and the NEW 3DS. No big difference but on the NEW 3DS you will have bigger worlds!

It is limited in comparison to the other versions but who cares? I love the touchscreen building on the 3DS with the stylus!

Also the pixel art looks great on the 3DS screen

I still prefer the Switch version and I am waiting for the Journey's End update as it will be awesome!

If you have cash laying around just get it

I brought this game back on my old 3DS back in 2016, I didn't really notice any of the significant drops and truth be told I had an absolute blast playing it for about 50 hours or so over the course of a week. I'd 100% reccommend it.
