I can't wait for this game to get released. I want to go preorder right now but I'm waiting till I can pay it off in one go so I don't have to worry about having the money on release day.
Still hoping they incorporate Digitial Devils Saga's battle system into future Installments of SMT . And hope they add up secret bosses like Belzebub and the likes. And I heard there's a new "Hee-Hoo" demon? That would be cool.

I'm super excited for this game! It's my third SMT game and I just had to preorder the game for the bonus.
I wish the English SMT IV site would update and add a little more detail... I really want to know more about Jonathan and Isabeau. Guess I'll just check the Japanese site for now because they have more stuff.
Say what now?

I'm not really active here anymore. So it goes.
one thing i hope the pre-order extras (music CD Etc...) with make it into the pal region but i'm not hopeful, guess i should be satisfied it's being release here (UK)
Do you long-term fans think this will be a good starting point into the series?
I think every game is stand alone anyway so I wouldn't imagine that you'd need to play previous entries in the series.
I've been thinking along the same lines too, should I get Soul Hackers first and (if I like it) then get SMT4? I've not played a first person dungeon crawler before, but I am interested none the less. Does Soul Hackers allow you to adjust the difficulty and in most cases would it be better to play with an easier setting anyway? I heard Soul Hackers is hard and I'm not sure it's suitable to a newcomer like myself.
I would try PicDun 2: Witch's Curse, but unfortunately I can't download it since I don't live in the US. I do however have a still-in-wrap copy of Etrian Odyssey II that I picked up long ago in a sale (cheap of course), maybe I should try that to begin with?? I hope it's worth unwrapping it (I wasn't to keen to open it until now, maybe it'll be worth something if I keep it that way?)

@RetroGBHippie92 Open that up. It won't be worth anything above what you paid for it. Soul Hackers is somewhat similar to Etrian Odyssey but only in the way it plays. Soul Hackers does seem like it will be hard though as I've only played say 3 hours or so but SMT IV is nothing like Soul Hackers other then the demon fusing. The game play is not set up the same and Overclocked is also totally different other then the demon fusing! All are worth purchases though by any RPG fan!

Of course there is! Well it wouldn't matter to me or almost anyone that already has the system here in the west. Plus I don't think its quite a system seller in the west either!
