@Vee_Flames: Conceptually they make a lot of sense. Some Pokemon are adapting to their surroundings. Also, a chandelier that steals souls is a monster. It's a horror monster, but it's still conceptually a monster. Nice try though.
I mean, I hate the Vanillite line as much as the next line... well kind of. Vanillite has a pretty awesome design, but the other two... there was so much potential. So much. Anyway, a lot of the concepts behind object Pokemon make sense. The Honedge line, the Litwick line, and klefki all make sense when you look at what inspired them. Not to mention... they just look sooo cool. This is a world where at the very start back in gen I a kid became a Kadabra. I'm pretty sure that if that can happen, an object based species can come into existence due to the rapid urbanization in certain regions of the Pokemon world.
It's a shame that we probably won't get any Pokemon Sun and Moon news until the next Corocoro, and that tomorrows direct will certainly not have any gameplay footage or even a new Pokemon reveal what-so-ever.
More evidence.
The hotel.
And finally a nice shot of the Pokecenter designs, you can see what looks like a info desk, Pokemarts, and other stuff which I can't make out. Looks pretty neat.

So what do you make of all of this?
After all this is a Speculation thread.
The next legendary will be a walking building(rock/psychic type) called Architechius. It can mimic buildings, people inside buildings, and environments around buildings.

... Just plain stupid.
No, because there are Pokemon who are trash already; like @DarthNocturnal said. Then, there will be a movie where Ash and friends enter a town that they may never escape, all because of Architechius...
@SCAR: He has a point. A building Pokemon wouldn't have the bones to support its weight. Remember, these are Pokemon that adapted to their environment, and have a kind of environmental camouflage going on aesthetically. All object Pokemon we've had so far still adhere to general rules of mass and weight ratios. None are any taller than a street light, and they all have interesting concepts that make their existence understandable.
Wailord is a giant Pokemon with a tiny fraction of the mass a creature of it's size would normally have, it's more similar to a giant Balloon than a whale.
I don't think Pokemon designers follow the laws of nature all that much.
Anyway, I think we all know the building Pokemon thing was a joke.
@Meowpheel: The thing is, Wailord pretty much IS a giant balloon-marine creature. Most of it is comprised of air. It's called the float whale Pokemon for a reason.
