@Octane At this point anything is possible, but it would be really sweet.
@Bolt_Strike I think it's awesome. Maybe they can make something like the Delta episode but resembling the story of the second pokemon movie. Maybe they'll add different versions of them like with the other pokemon, but I really doubt it.
I think this whole 'Ho-oh and Lugia in the Clouds' theory is probably a case of people seeing what they want to see. When said Ho-oh was in the top left, I did manage to see it, but... err, in a completely different profile.
That said, I still think some sort of GSC referencing would make a lot of sense, and apparently GSC merchandising has seen an unexpected boost recently.
Well, design-wise it's obviously a coconut palm tree.
These Dracaena plants are just a nice way to explain the new typing. If it was fire type and a plant matched that nicely with it, would probably be because it's what inspired the typing.
Are you guys trying to make a "Burning Bush" joke here or something? Because we all know it will be shaped like a moose.
Better pack that egg salad, cuz we're riding this basket all the way down!
I love that they've introduced sub-species that were forced to adapt differently to their respective locations compared to their relatives over in Kanto. It just makes a lot of sense, and they should have done this earlier in the franchise.
I wonder if Vulpix will be only found in Sun, and Snowshrew in Moon, or something. I think that'll decide it for me, seeing as Ninetails is better designed than pretty much every other pokemon we've seen.
I actually like Sandshrew and Sandslash better. I like Vulpix but I'm not too sure about Ninetails. Exeggutor is the one I hate. But regardless I'm getting two copies of each version because I have three kids plus me that is really excited for this game and can't wait to play it. My eldest kids want Moon and my 4 year old & I will be team Sun.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
Hey guys, if there are really two final evolutions for each starter, what do you think that would determine the evolution? I'm guessing night and day cycles like with espeon and umbreon (hence why it's called Sun and Moon... maybe?). Another way could be that it depends on which version of the game you get.
@roy130390 Why didn't I think of that!? Of course the different final evolutions would be determined by version: That's what they did with Mega Mewtwo and Charizard.
@Tsurii Well they're probably doing something like that with the Alolan forms. Evolve an Exeggcute in Alola and you get the giraffe-form, evolve it in any other game and you'll get the regular old fat one.
