@Morpheel: Yeah, I used Arceus, Mega Audino, and Lickilicky for the Safari and breezed through every level. Normals are great in 3-Pokemon stages and timed levels. Once I only needed Phione I switched to super effectives, mainly to at least get some XP for other Pokemon.
@Spoony_Tech: Leveling? Yeah, me too, my Arceus is up to Lv.8 now and I'm working on the Pokemon I'll be using for M-Garchomp. My funds are down to about 50k. Should hopefully be fully ready to go for the competition by Monday, I think.

I used Sceptile, Shaymin, and M. Ampharos for the Safari due to them all being super effective except for Furfou. Anyone, I'm having trouble with 22 regular stages to S-rank. I'm so close to Chestnaught for the Competition! Onix and Lickylicky are so frustrating. I have wasted at least 5000 on each level and have yet to achieve S-rank.

Ok so I've sucked at the Meowth coin mania since day one. I can never seem to get more then 2100 and often get less then 1000. What is everyone's favorite set ups please?
For Meowth mania there are 2 things you need to do. Do not use pokemon that prevent disruption delays and do not use mega Pokemon that destroy anything that is part of the board. Coins only count if you match them. if they are destroyed by mega lucario for example they are gone. If they are turned into something else like Mega Sssssssssssllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooo they are also destroyed
Past strategies involved using quirky and quirky+ pokemon to help remove non coin tiles. Mega Banette is a good choice as his mega form removes ghost pokemon and other ghost pokemon like hunter and Yamask are quirky as well. Mega Gengar is a good alternate too.
It's all about making combos rather than matching coins.
I use Mega Banette, Yamask (Ghost-type/ Quirky), Haunter (Ghost-type/Quirky), and then any other Pokemon with Quirky+. I buy +5 moves and Mega Start. I've done this for over a month and have have finished with at least a 5k profit each time. Best was 7k profit (earned 9800 coins).
I rarely match coins. I first try to make a Mega match, and even then I try to trigger a Quirky move first. I let the falling coins and disruptions make the matches for me. Only on the last move should you drag a coin because combos on the final turn don't trigger more coins.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
I currently also use M-Banette, Yamask, and Haunter. I also use Moves+5 and Chandelure is my 4th Pokemon to round out the bunch. I had terrible luck when I used Xerneas the previous week. Previously, I was using a team of M-Mewtwo, Espeon, and the Meowstics. I was going to use all my Mega Speedups on Mewtwo, but Quirky is such a good trait to have on your team and Mewtwo, before evolving, sometimes erases coins which is not useful. Seriously considering dropping all my Mega Speedups on Banette if nothing better comes along soon.

Well, it's been a while since I last posted on here. Somewhere around the 800 messages mark, I think... At least we'll finally get a Ground-Type mega in Garchomp, so Electric-types won't be so much of a pain... Currently, I'm up to date, with Megas and Pokes, and I only have a few S ranks to hit 210. It took a while for phione though... I had a real scare when I ran into it with my Meowthin' team, but a lucky skyfall got me all the way to catching it . It may be a pain to find, but at least if you beat it, you have a good chance of a catch.
