Topic: Nintendo Badge Arcade

Managed to nag 4/5 Punch-Out!! badges with 1 free play just by going for ref Mario and Piston Honda, and those things are all huge 2 or 4 panel badges. Seriously, I have so many awesome badges now, I wouldn't have anywhere to put any more, and I haven't spent anything on this game.

@Blue_Blur Thanks for the tip, I forgot I could do that! Unfortunately I still couldn't quite grab it... One day I'll just have to get lucky.

Even still, I managed to nab a lot of good badges today! As you can see from my home screen, Badge Arcade is really getting me into a festive mood:

Got a nice few badges today, also got another freebie today!

Got a flag badge from this set without even wasting a try! just had to wait for it to fall down.

I got the pennant too.

I went for Tryclyde today and it knocked over Mouser and Clawgrip so I got 3 badges with one play. With my last free play I went for some Christmas Mario stuff. Got a Mario plus some blocks, a stocking and a coin.

@FriedSquid, your home screen is pretty. It's better than my holiday theme.

Yay, I finally got a free badge using the "machine changing" technique... It was the coin in the Christmas Mario set with the pipe...

It took way too long to fall.

I was actually trying to get something from a different set though. The one with the dead Santa Mario.

I got the pennant as a bonus, and one free play.

And thanks @Freelance, for posting about Tryclyde. I also wanted him and Mouser, but wasn't sure if they were obtainable with one free play. Luckily, I got them all including Clawgrip with my free play!

When it's a short conversation, it usually means no free play, so I always hope the bunny talks for a while!

2 Free plays today, and I managed to complete a whole set. I actually didn't get anything with my first play (I tried going for little mario in a SMW machine that also had Bowser Jr. in it), but with my second try I nabbed an entire set.

It was the SMW one with the Chain Chomp hanging onto the edge, with all those other enemies on top of it. Went for the blooper, and on the way back it bumped against the bob-omb, which dragged everything else down with it.

Occasionally that bob-omb will just fall off when you flick over to that machine.

Got myself 4 free plays and a whole lot of badges! started making some silly themes now on the side

No new machines today. I only got 1 free play today I was JUST one away from getting 2

Got another free bob-omb today. I tried getting some blocks from the Christmas Mario with warp pipe machine, hoping that if I hit the blocks over the hole, they'd all fall in with the warp pipe and maybe even Mario. Well, it didn't work. at all. All I got for my troubles is that little white bag.

The practice catcher brought me lots of luck today. Just busting through the stack of badges got them all except two in one fell swoop. The rest was easy so i also got the double bonus badge. This resulted in three free plays and that was enough to get the complete set from the real catcher. Sweet!

I haven't kept track of how much I've spent so far, but it's definitely over $15 now. I'm probably not going to spend anymore though unless Tomodachi Life badges come out. I need all those badges 'cause they look so delicious. With one play I was able to get all the fruits in the 2 machines that's out now.

@Freelance: If you've spent $15 on this already, there's no way you're going to stop now!

Well I DID say I will buy more than more Tomodachi Life badges come out. They're my number one priority. There's 121 badges tops and I've already gotten all the ones that came out already. I've a feeling I'd need to buy a lot more to get the rest, especially if say, 5 machines come out at once. I must say, though, that I'm probably the only one who wants them. Other people (in forums) are like, 'it's just food,' and 'they're so boring.' Man, you guys don't love food or something??

I also really need that Furret badge, and a bunch of Spheals (no badges yet though, sadly).
If only Digimon badges came out. I'd go bat crazy.

It's a bit embarrassing, but I actually spent five dollars the first week.

And for badges I don't use anymore.

I've spent two dollars for Splatoon and MK8 badges. Probably gonna spend more for the Splatoon ones I'm missing when they come out.

Got one free play today, and managed to get SMW Bowser Jr, Kamek, the magic, and the Galoomba. I just wanted Bowser Jr., so the other badges were a nice bonus!

Woohoo! I finally managed to get something with the crane trick! It was the Wind Waker machine with the flags on the slope on the bottom, but they're cut off from sliding down by that totem pole that's sticking down from an above platform. I managed to get one of the flags to wiggle it's way under the totem pole, and it fell down!

Also, I had a free play, and managed to get a few Metroid badges with it (Kraid, a powerup that looks like an atom, and one of those little spiny enemies).
