Topic: New Super Mario Bros 2

About the worlds.

Basically, there's 6 Worlds that you have to play through to just finish the game, save Princess Peach, you know.
Like the original New Super Mario Bros. game on DS, there's 2 hidden worlds that are optional and can be found by taking a hidden pathway.
Just like Worlds 4 and 7 in the DS game, only they're called Mushroom and Flower worlds. Then there's the Star World that shows up after you finish the game, or after you get 1 million coins??? Don't quote me on this, I'm just pulling all the information together for people who don't understand.

When you beat the game, also you can choose Luigi after going so by pressing L and R.

Sooo what everyone has said so far to me sounds very disappointing:
Only Six worlds
Same music from the previous game
No use of the 3DS 3D function

Please give me reasons to get me to pre order this again! From what I read so far It's like feeling a massive slap in the face and then a swift kick in the balls from Nintendo

9 Worlds... there's some new music, and some of them are a bit remi><ed, the 3D in this game is like a lens focus. The more 3D you put the blurrier the background becomes. What really matters though is the gameplay, and the level design in this game is e>< excellent. The Star Coins IMO are a lot harder to find.

There's also the Coin Rush and DLC coming.

Ignore this spoiler alert crap. I just want to know if Wario is mentioned in this game, or what the coin reward is.

Several publications have got their hands on the long-awaited New Super Mario Bros 2 for the Nintendo 3DS and the reviews seem to be a mixed bag. As previously reported Famitsu gave the game the highest score with a near-perfect 36/40. Other publications such as CVG and 3D Juegos awarded the game a solid 8/10. New Super Mario Bros 2 currently has an 81 score on Metacritic.

I'm getting this game regardless of the reviews, its a Mario game, that's that.

If you fight Bowser in the sixth world, then do two Koopalings get left out or are two of them in the bonus worlds?

Isn't the background supposed to blur with 3d on? I think I read that in the Iwata asks...
And what happened to bowser junior? All I see are the koopalings...

Yes it blurs. The other 2 are in the bonus worlds... and I don't want to begin to tell you about Junior... or it will blow your mind. Just... going to say... Godzilla vs Destroyer... someone will get it. But you didn't hear it from me.

What happens when you get 1 million coins?

You get bragging rights lol!!!

The title screen gets changed to show all of your coins, and a gold mario statue.

The reward is disappointing, but I'm still excited for this game.

Eh, Nintendo in the past always talked about this 1 million coin goal, making everyone think that the reward would be something awesome. Like, a Gold World or whatever.

it's funny when I said this game was lazy and then people said there would be something new and worthwhile and then there wasn't and then I posted about how it's funny.
