Well, at least we know that both models will be available at launch. Now that makes it harder to make a decision!

I'm totally going to preorder it if it's priced the same as the current models.
I think it will be. $169.99 for New 3DS, $199.99 for New XL. As for the others...maybe a drop to $149.99 for the XL and a drop to $99.99 for the 2DS?

Has anyone went from a XL to the new regular 3DS? If so what would you say the pros and cons are. Also does anyone have a list of compatible memory cards.

Nothing touches my system unless it's SanDisk. I've had other memory cards and none are better then SanDisk. They just run faster and are more reliable. Also if you look back a few pages before all this talk started about the February 13th date there was a very detailed review from a user.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
That poster...it seems to be implying that not only the New 3DS will be released on February 13, but also Majora's Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Am I the only person who sees this?

If it helps - I just went for a new XL as my first 3DS, in November (The AUS NZ bonus). I was undecided on small or XL until on NVC, Jose Otero noted that he wanted to go small with faceplates and coloured buttons but he just wasn't enjoying it as much as the XL, the bigger screen won him over. That was good enough advice for me so I went for a black XL. I have played it almost everyday since and not once have I felt sad that I didn't have coloured buttons or interchangable face plates.

Doesn't shock me one bit. I've been saying I thought the New 3ds was going to launch with MH4 all along but also said that could change in favor of Majoras Mask. Well both is even better but now I need to come up with even more money and the didn't want Both on the same day. I want to play both exclusively but if they come on the same day that will make it impossible. Now I don't know which I would want to play first.

I don't know. If we follow that logic then MM and Hunter 4 would be New 3DS exclusive, which I don't believe is happening but I guess it could
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Well, moreso that they will be available that day, not necessarily being an exclusive, which we already know it's not.
However, both of these games will have enhancements for the New 3DS, right? So it makes sense.

I think its safe to say that February 13th is when the New 3DS/XL will launch in the states. Europe....ah hell who am I kidding, they'll have it before this month is out. It'll be at least a two week difference so the 30th for Europe...dammit NOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That poster seems like pretty damning evidence for it. The tag line makes prefect sense coming from Nintendo (or more specifically NOA) Now those game Majora's Mask and Monster Hunter 4...I wouldn't be surprised by a Majora/New 3DS launch, but Monster Hunter...I'm not so sure...however I can't help but admit that it would be bloody prefect move on the marketing front. Would definitely show off the C-Stick, faster processor and the XL itself, so I'll put that at a maybe. Either way...I doubt my wallet will be able to handle getting either title until Easter... But I'll be quite happy with my changeable faceplates and smaller (but decently sized!) screen! New 3DS here we come, love my XL, but I'd like something a little smaller and faceplates, faceplates forever.

You beat me to that quote. Both will benefit from it so why not. Plus we still have no clue other then maybe camera control as to what Majoras Mask might do. Plus Amiibo support most likely.

Well it's been know all along the MM won't need the New system but it was hinted at Amiibo support. As for Monster Hunter just look to Japan for your info. Its not exclusive over there.

Which is why I think it is weird that they would advertise both with the New 3DS. If they have Amiibo support then I guess that is why but other than that I don't know why they would be advertised together.

@DefHalan But both also utilize the extra c stick. Both these games will benefit from that as well. Also if they're all coming out on the same day then why not. Its actually quite a big event for Nintendo and gaming in general. Wouldn't be surprised on a midnight launch from Gamestop for this one.
