About those gifs, if your browser has the function all of the special attack descriptions translate pretty well.

Those animations are almost too awesome for this game I mean, the monsters almost look like sh*t in comparison. I especially like the GS and LS ones. They represent the weapons accurately.

Those animations make these battles look like something from an anime.

Especially the gunlance and long sword ones. They stylish.

Man, I wish they had kept the alternate monster coloring armor sets in this game. Stygian and Chaos (gunner) were two of the coolest female armor designs.

God knows there's enough ugly or outdated sets in the game.

I think I'll be downloading this game like I did with MH4U. There are so many times now when I get a random opportunity to hunt with someone and am glad that it's always there on my system.

The super animations are a mixed bag. I mean they all look really cool, but some of them just dont feel good at all.

The great sword ones are well, great. People still use those a lot, and they pretty much still feel great, cause its just like a charged great sword shot. Your position and timing are critical to pulling the move off.

The gun lance one is wonderful.

The sword, long sword, and switch axe ones though, people stopped using those pretty fast. It just didnt feel good. You touched the tab and sat back and watched how cool what you were'nt doing was. And every move in the combo could actually be done through the games normal controls. So most people I saw online replaced those kinds of combos with other ones like stat boosters and stuff.

Except long sword users, cause, thats pretty much how they've always been anyways.

Game is tons of fun though, a literal greatest hits album of MH. Will buy again for the localization.

@Indy83 Yeah, I felt the same way with the charge axe's axe form in 4. It just doesn't feel as satisfying with those extra-long animations disconnecting the hits from your button inputs..

Essentially. I'll play it if it ever gets localized, but it can't compare to a real Monster Hunter game.

I dunno, Ceadeus was just super boring for me...the first time it was fun...but that was it.
