Aparently that skill can very rarely make monsters spawn with only one hit point left, whoa.

The set I used during LR was Nersicylia (or however it's written). It was good until I got HR Jaggi.

It came with prevent sleep, so it was pretty nice.

Okay this may be a dumb question but what rank is good to start farming for some of the special dlc armor and weapons?

HR 7 is a good rank if you want to have access to all of the Low/High Rank quests, but HR 4 is fine if you only want certain armor/weapons like the Zelda DLC. Just be sure to bring in good armor and weapons when you attempt them.

You get most of the palico armor in High Rank, though if you want specific ones like Mega Man and Chun-Li, you'll have to get into G-Rank. I'm fine with most of the fun DLC quests being part of the higher ranks as there isn't much quests to do in G-Rank compared to High Rank. (Not counting the Guild Quests)

I can now confirm the desire sensor exists. As of a few minutes ago, I've ran 15 G-Rank Seregios and haven't gotten one Lens.

@Iggly: I can probably help. My friends usually gun down Raging Brachy while I trash him with the Insect Glaive. The runs are pretty easy and no one carts. If I can get them online you can warp to the room if you want.

is Anger Management Brachy armor good? it looks good for blunt weapons or impact charge blades, with the bonus to stun and exhaust attacks

Getting Immortal Reactors from Raging Brachydios was surprisingly easy, I got 3 during 6 of the hunts I did with my friend.
