Hm I guess that means my armor is as strong as it can get right now.

We should really be able to buy tru, strong, and divine armor spheres along with dragonbone artifacts. More hunting, less MMO grinding mats.

I want to build up an extensive wardrobe without running Heaven's Mount or Dunes (night) 10s of times.

Quick question in case there are any bow users here, is the Hero's Bow (link's sacred bow) any good? or do i just make the Akantor bow with Zinogre U armor (i've heard it's a nice combo)

I have seen people using the master sword, but the sacred bow doesn't seem to be quite as popular.

I need to upgrade my Master Sword quite a bit for it to become useful. It's capable of being functionable in G Rank, right?

I think so. It has white sharpness (purple with +1) 510 fire and decent raw. It's like Sanctioned Saints in MH3U (the chainsaw sns) but fire

Quick question. How many monsters from MH3U made it over to MH4U or are they all brand new monsters?

It's the game with the most monsters so far. Most of them are returning monsters.

Some of the 3rd generation monsters are taking a break. Great Jaggi, Lagombi, Deviljho are back...and of course Zinogre and Brachydios are back because they're flagships. (...yet Nargacuga isn't in the game for some weird reason, lol) Probably forgetting another monster...but yeah plenty of older monsters are in this game.

Also, technically Jhen is back, lol. Not really, but it's basically Jhen. xp

Man G3 is hard, I think its time to change armour again.

@TeeJay The G-Rank version of the Master Sword is one of the best Fire Sword and Shields you can make at the moment since the Gold Rathian DLC isn't out yet.

And I assume to upgrade it I just have to fight Akantor over and over and over again?

For the first upgrade, you'll need:
3x Goddess's Fire
1x Daora Gem (Kushala Daora)
1x Teostra Gem
3x Akantor Hardclaw

While for the G-Rank upgrade, you'll need:
3x Allfire Stone
4x Meldspar Ore
1x Gravios Pallium

Oh, it only upgrades twice? There must be a huge difference between them then. I actually already upgraded it once so I'll have to check my game to see what of those things I still need to get.

Yep, the difference between the second stage of the High Rank Master Sword and the G-Rank one is pretty high.
