Mario Kart 7 certainly lives up to the hype, it's simply amazing. I've 3 starred the 50cc and 100cc cups, and I started playing some online races. I noticed that the only time Maka Wuhu comes up is when some one chooses a random track, and no one I've raced against has used the glitch.

I actually burn out on purpose and stay in last until everyone passes the glitch point. If someone goes for it, I do too. Might as well beat them at their own game.

Same here. Sometimes I don't exactly feel too good about doing a glitch that I hate others for doing, but when every single player does it I might as well follow them because I'm going to get last anyway. Actually when someone picks Maka Wuhu I usually pick one of the Rainbow Roads because I've found that most glitch users aren't too good at those tracks and they like to use either very light karts (which are easily pushed off) or heavy karts with low handling (which is bad for both tracks but especially the SNES one.)

Sometimes I don't exactly feel too good about doing a glitch that I hate others for doing, but when every single player does it I might as well follow them because I'm going to get last anyway. I ran into my first glitch users not to long ago. six people in the group voted for Maka Wuhu and I finished in last. It sucked because the race was so boring, and Maka Wuhu is one of my favorite tracks. Every one was so far ahead my items were useless, and it kind of ruins the Mario Kart experience.
I've been using Mii + B Dasher + Mushroom Tires + Peach's Parasol. The combination has served me pretty well, it just didn't stand a chance in Maka Wuhu.
