@Knuckles Sorry, I missed a question. Not sure what do you mean by rage mode, but I do agree that people tend to be redundant. That's why I change weapons every game unless I see a weapon that needs to be countered professionally such as Taurus Arm.
I think people are too obsess about kills, that's why people will go for OHKO. I'm pretty relaxed in LvD as my only goal is to win and provide support for my team but in FFA...err...I don't know I don't play FFA much. Lately, I've been getting too many 1v1 challenge. Once, I played this dude and he kept using his Compact Arm with Shot Defense every game and once I bring in Samurai Blade, he was pretty much doomed.

Better at melee? Anything that will prevent you to knockback (Super Armour, Aries Amour, Brief Invincibility, Trade-Off)
Invisible also works well on Claws but use it subtly (I remember you'd use it right in front of me with your Ninja Palm set). Make sure to hide it on the bottom screen.
I would suggest you to add homing if you have trouble with the reticule but since you're using HedgeHog Claws that wouldn't work. Use AutoReticule, that power hurts if you aim from far but since they're claws, you should be fine. But then again, you don't need to aim much with melee weapons.

Mods for both weapon..hmm...These are my reccomendation
Shot Range+3 for Knuckles Staff, I dont know if you saw one of my previous post about Shot Range but that's pretty much the explanation. Plus 60m is pretty short for a staff. You wouldn't want to approach the enemy as Staff slower you a lot.
For HedgeHog Claws, Freeze+4. Because that weapon doesn't have OCKO potential, you'd need to combo them twice before they die. Since Freeze is an accumulative status, it should happen very often when you combo them. But beware of Effect Recovery. I notice it's not a very common power but I use it for almost every set I have.

@3Dangerous3Dash I disagree on the homing of Cutter Palm. Foward/Side/Standing Charge shot are decent. Their hitbox makes it even worse. But Backward is very godly; if an enemy dodge it, the shot will not even bother to make a U-Turn, it will come back straight at the enemy. Kind of like a Bommerang, except...no U-Turn. Good choice of weapon though, it's one of my favourite weapon ever.

@Ruceyod LOL You remember that experimental palm? I only used it because of 5 stars ranged, speed +4, and I took the ninja theme too seriously
Ninja Weapons, invisibility.... to good to be true. I just wasn't good with that palm. Maybe other palms for me? Also that palms charge back shot? Worthless to me, wayyy to slow. I remember using it in the training zone online, with full range, I could out, outrun it, and get a melee dash attack in before it hit. The speed boost did help

@geneon101 I also took overused "from the shadows he's suddenly there" with invisibility

@Ruceyod I am not kidding. The homing is great, but only when I use a charged shot. It might be some modifier, I'll have to look at it more closely... But I'm serious, there is a weird amount of homing on this.

@Sonicman I'd reccomend it, the userface is easy, you can delete strokes, zoom in 400%, really user-friendly while providing enough depth for pros. I'll swapnote everyone my Ho-Oh When finished.

Pushmo doesn't make me see double vision, every once and a while KIU will, but almost every time I play MM now(It didn't used to make me see double vision)it's extreme double vision. Eventually I get used to it, but it's really annoying in some of the darker levels. In the lighter levels I don't really notice it.

I never use 3D, so double vision doesn't matter to me :3. I already have pushmo, it sucks :l. Probably because I don't like puzzles, but I heard that it appeals to puzzle haters, guess not >.<.

@Ruceyod, @Sonicman Can one of you guys explain to me how when I have playing dead activated, my laser staff's in peril auto dodge kicks in?

According to @Sonicman, I can't take any damage from weapons, so why does my staff try and save me?

Also would activating playing dead allow me to take no damage from a direct daybreak attack? I believe I avoided a hit like this before when I couldn't take out the guy with all of the pieces, he fired, I actived playing dead..... and LIVED!?!

@Knuckles Your staff must think you're in danger, even though you're not actually there. Also, playing dead = COMPLETE immunity to ANY form of damage EXCEPT falling out of bounds.
In other news, finally beat ch. 3 with blade, 9.0 for the first time, AND no purple orbs hit опо! Used an awesome crusader blade with some defense, 5 stars range, and evasion +4 and dodged like crazy >.<.

@Knuckles Yeah, my mistake. I just typed too many times Knuckles and got confused. >_>; Got me good!

If you didn't like Ninja Palm's backward charge shot, you will probably hate most Palms, lol.

If you use Playing Dead, you definatly don't want In-Peril AutoDodge as it ruins the durability of that power. I'm not sure because I don't use Playing Dead myself but I think you're only invincible if you don't move at all.
In-Peril AutoDodge activates when your Health Bar is blinking (about to die). Not when you'll get killed (like OHKO). It's pretty much as if you have Dodge Token item once in In-Peril mode. It will react to anything that hurts even if it will not hurt you.
Here's a random situation where it's good to be both invincible and have AutoDodge:
Trade-Off+Energy Charge
Energy Charge wears off if you get hit, its doesn't matter if it didn't hurt you thanks to Trade-Off's invincibility. But with AutoDodge, you would have dodge it.

Somewhat close to what I wanted. I can understand why you love that Palm, it's very fun.

@3Dangerous3Dash You're right. Cutter Palm have a good homing but like most weapon, you need to be at a certain distance. For Cutter Palm's case, you need to be seriously far. I was just too focus about its cons that I forgot that myself spam a lot of forward dash charge shot. Just never near an enemy.

@Ruceyod Yeah, I know I need to get off my staff, but I'm constructing a 6 star ranged laser staff, with Standing Charge Shot +3-4, and Dash Charge Shot +3-4. Now would Forward Dash Charge Shot be redundent, since I am aiming for the all around dash charge shot?
