@Sonicman, @3Dash How was I? That was a lot of fun, but I'm in need for better powers on my New Knuckle Staff, and New Hedgehog Claws. I keep on making my claws shoot instead of slash, and I have a me problem. I have a harder time keeping my reticule on my target than slashing. I am more used to shooting than melee, but I thats just a me problem, need more practice.

EDIT: @3Dash Yes I understand it, but how long does that invincibility last again? I think your invincibility strategy can be beaten through an endurance match. Assuming someone can counter, and dodge all of your blows, you are going to get sloppy and enter into a crazy kill him at all cost rage mode. And when you enter that rage mode, it makes you easier to dodge. Then wait for the invincibility to wear out, and go full force.
I tried to do that with you, but I am not skilled enough in countering blows, and dodging invincible attacks.
Thats my thougths.

I can be beaten, some of you may have noticed that I was turned into an eggplant while the trade off was activated, whence I calmly stood an let people fire at me at will.

Yeah, that Rage Mode, I've noticed it in myself. I start to kill someone and have this urge to finish the job, no matter what it takes.

The other fatal flaw with my plan is that it's really easy to run from me. Dodging is an option, but when you're invincible, nothing really can stop you--at least not much. So I'll fire like crazy. But even if I miss most of the shots, one hit from any attack can put a good 1-2 hundred in you, with a possible petrification.

@Knuckles I thought you did rather well. You just have to look around you a bit more, which is how I was able to get you a few times. I have that problem a lot too.

Dodging is easy to learn, hard to master. I've learned it ok, but I wouldn't call myself a master in any sense. Dodging can be serious, because if you take down your guard for as little as a couple seconds, you could be finished.

Btw, how did everyone like me Wolf Claws with the freezing modifier? Crazy, huh?

@3Dash 1. I didn't really even see your rage mode. I just did a little thinking about how to take down most people. I believe 9/10 people will keep on their strategy, whereas the other 1 person will try something new.
2. My Laser Staff deals around the same thing, but what I found hilarious was I was turned to stone, and activated Playing Dead just in time. I have learned from experience, that if you are trying to KO someone, and they just die, you,
A) Leave and not care, or B) Think a better fighter is around, and you cant see the attacks. Either way, you are open, and leaving a opening to attack, that I and MANY other people have fallen for.
I don't think I did that with you, but it was long enough for me to live
3. It isn't the first time I have been frozen with a pair of flaming wolf claws, as @geneon101 should remember. Do you still use those @gen?

Not really... I know if you're dead. There is a few giveaways.
1. There's no grave.
2. You usually try to shoot me.
3. You have some other power activated so I know exactly where you are.

Btw, most annoying time in KIU online so far. I had daybreak and was aiming at Clayton, and he used Temporary Invincibility. I was so mad >:[

Oh, I reread your comment. Yeah, you saw that I didn't fall for it. But I do know that many do.

@3Dash I am used to FFA's that leave me in 1st with 10 KO's. So I am used to undermining MOST opponents. That doesn't help when I fight you guys, because it takes a few fights to get back into I must fight for my life, opposed to I'm a walking fighter of death, come at me

@3Dangerous3Dash When you use your trade-off, I just dodge you until it wears off, you going into rage-mode helps. Then I use some cont. fire to finish you, also, tried you same trade-off strategy, and it sucks. You only get to use trade-off once per game, and p-word heal twice, so in a 3 min match, great, in a 5+ minute match, you're screwed (hope that word is allowed, couldn't think of another .-. .)
@Knuckles As you can tell, I usually just ignore you and run after someone else while dodging your attacks while you use playing dead. It doesn't last long enough to do much, except for MAYBE one kill, but somehow, you get it to work. I envy you for that >.>. You're getting pretty good.

@Sonicman Its because I don't use it to get all of my KO's. Instead, I mixed it in to my attack strategy.
I have a hard time describing it, but it works.
What stinks, is my staffs in-peril autododge, either saves me from hits, and completely wastes my playing dead. So I have a question, does Playing Dead make you invincible for 10-15 seconds? I have used it, have had rockets hit me in the blast range, dawnbreaks shot, and guys slashing, shooting, with....nothing happening? Can someone explain this

@Knuckles With playing dead, your entire character is gone, unlike transparency. As a result, shots go right through you.

Light vs. Dark isn't the best team game. It's pretty hard to coordinate or be coordinated when there is no way to communicate with them.
That would be solved in Nearby matches, but I havn't done any with other players.

I'm curious as to what Trade-off actually adds to stats. My guess is bonus to shot and melee stars, but not the actual stars.

@Sonicman It's not a terrible strategy, when I use it in Anyone mode, I'm usually around first.
Also, one strategy does not fit all.
Look at me earlier, I was always(except for one time, in which I was 4th) in the top three places. Yeah, I'll admit it has some flaws. Which is why I use two strategies, bouncing from one to one. Even then, it has flaws. Every strategy ever will have flaws. I will try before too long to come up with a new strategy, but for now, I'm fine how I am.

I do not show very much anger or such in my in my SwapNotes or Status Message, in fact, none of us do. Rage Mode is like a way of wordlessly expressing anger, I'm sure a lot of you have done it. If I showed more, well, let's not go there. But it comes through in my gaming style sometimes, which we have all appropriately named "Rage Mode." This is where I raise the stakes, even if it is foolishly, but in attempt to defeat whoever it is I need to defeat, and sometimes this works, other times it doesn't. As I said, with a better strategy, Rage Mode might not be as devastating for me. Sometimes I can even use Rage Mode to my advantage.

Also, just because I might not be as good as you doesn't mean that my whole strategy is screwed. I've beat you a few times, you've beat me a lot, but yeah, you're probably better than I. If you used that Taurus Arm every battle, you'd win every time, and you don't, and I respect you for that. My strategy works for me, at the current time.

I hope that I worded this all correctly, sometimes I'm not good with words.

@RPG for comparison, my Magnus Club gives about 200 for a Dash-Melee attack. If I use trade off, it's about 400.

Light VS Dark is a blast with communication and various weapons. I Skype with friends but unfortunatly, there's always someone left out as it can only hold 5 persons.

I don't like LvD on anyone mode because some people just want the street passes, so they just plug in their 3DS and walk away. So that means it's 2 vs. 3, really. Not fair.

It's worst when someone's doing it in Friends' room. I've seen it. They didn't stay long on my Friend List. I also hate people who stalls in the weapon selection. Please come prepared!

No... When you play someone in KIU and you have Invite Mii on in your StreetPass settings, then the Miis of the people you were playing go to your Mii Plaza. At least, I think so.

That was my point though; I don't play LvD on Random anymore.

Yeah, people stall, it is annoying, I try not to do it, although I have done it a few times myself. The only good reason for stalling is if you control the room and are waiting for a player or players.

@Ruceyod Sorry, I was just thinking of how over powered my, I mean our[ ] team was. @RPG, myself, and you. I didn't know, and I gave it a good shot. Just before I quit, I played 1 more game, and gave him a one good forward dash shot [ouch] and killed him when he was dark pit. @JosH Sorry.

On 83, I was just asking for a some suggestions. I am sooooo used to my laser staff, I am having a hard time re-adjusting to the staff, and I don't know what powers to use. As for the claws, I want to be in melee range, and don't know either. But I am having problems with keeping a lock on fighters, and thats effecting my fight. Would autoreticule help me get used to targeting with claws?

@3Dash The only times I ever stall are when I need time out of the game, as in something pops up. During a fight, I activate Playing Dead.

Speaking of Playing Dead, remember when you[@Ruce] said every staff needs playing dead, except the Knux Staff @Ruceyod? Well if I misinterpreted that, it was for the best. Thats why I started using that strategy.
So Thank You @Ruceyod. Aperiently you gave me a strategy no one else is able to pull off/really understand

@3Dash About the invite on KI:U, I have played probably near 5000 people online, and only a handful are in my plaza.

They all came from friends lists matches. Either I did something wrong, or KI:U online random doesn't invite mii's in the plaza.
