I don't see the resemblance.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I'm tempted to not get this game now. I tried creating a profile at their site and I keep getting an error message about my profile being invalid. After trying 4 times across 2 different computers I'm starting to lose my faith in the game. I heard somewhere you need a profile on their site to get the daily/weekly challenges so that's already a HUGE loss on my part without the daily spotpass content.

I don't see any resemblance either. At all. Plus, Hero of Sparta is inspired from God of War, while HoR is inspired by Diablo/Torchlight.

Get your act together :/

I think in my gaming journalism class they called this "trolling".

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

Where did I say they were the same game? I said it looks like a Gameloft game. Soulless, chunky character models, generic enemies and boring backgrounds. Bland, clunky action. Everything looks as generic as generic gets.

Hero of Sparta is also a Gameloft game. I used the image to show the aesthetic resemblance.

Try again.

I actually agree with this, granted I know nothing about the game besides its graphics and online features.

I think that they will have that function available on their site when the game actually comes out, they are probably still setting it up. The game looks interesting to me and I am planning to get it. I loved playing Diablo and I hear this game is like that. The graphics may not be perfect, but they look pretty good for a handheld so I am looking forward to it. They only thing is that I heard there is a voice chat feature and knowing my language when I really get into a game I might have to disable it when I play online

What aesthetic resemblance? They look nothing alike.

well they both look low budget as hell and trying to jump aboard the the Resurgence of that genre.

They don't call Gameloft the Asylum of Videogames for nothing.

Why Play this when I can get Torchlight, Crimson Alliance, or Diablo.

WAT!

Basically HoS and HoR(maybe) are both generic looking games that lack creativity, end of story. Is it a bad thing? In my case no, just as long as it provides a decent gaming experience that manages to emulate the fun of the original games that it was clearly inspired from. I enjoyed HoS for what it is, a hack n slash that would serve well in times of waiting, it wont hold a candle against GoW, but it sands well on its own. As for HoR, I'll bite since I want a Diablo/Gauntlet fix for my handheld that, just need to wait for the word on the Online... Need to know if it isn't too laggy.

Fancy a Karrot Cake?

I don't think it looks like Gameloft stuff really, I actually think it looks a bit like World of Warcraft with its use of colours and textures(and low poly character models). I'm looking forward to the game as well, a decent dungeon RPG is something the 3DS really needs and all the network features are just awesome.

Also Tales of the Abyss was released in Australia as a JB HI-FI exclusive.(the day before Europe even!)

Because afaik, none of those are on the 3DS.

To me, the graphics of this game look more like Skylanders than anything. It's been a while since I played Skylanders though so my memory may be a little cloudy. I've really been looking forward to this game. I just hope the controls aren't too clunky.
