Topic: Heroes of Ruin Discussion Thread

I'm really hoping this game turns out great. It has a lot of features that can make this game last a very long time. As with most games of this type (referring to mmo's) the graphics are only OK but the amount of content will probably more then make up for it! Fingers crossed for a good review when it does come out.

This game is the sole reason I haven't sold my 3DS yet. ( <--that might be overly harsh) I'm really looking forward to it and hope I'm not disappointed. ::crosses fingers:: I refuse to support Blizzard but would still love to have a Diablo-esque experience. Loved that game.

I'm really worried about the framerate in this one. Graphically it looks like a Gameloft game, which is never a good thing. D:

The gameplay looks like it has potential though. The rolling move looks like fun.

I so want this! it looks boss plus there suppose to be hundreds of weapons!!!! and you chat to you mates and drop in and out of online co op

I'm not gonna lie I was a little disappointed in the 3D gameplay video that came out the other week. Up until then I was very psyched about this game and now I have my worries.

@GundamMac I've played Torchlight 1 and Titan Quest. Titan Quest is way better. Grim Dawn is a spiritual sequel to TQ. It'll be better than TL2

Yeah, that trailer was the first I saw of the gameplay and it doesn't look very impressive... :? Probably won't buy this one...

First of all don't judge this games 3d by the trailer. It might not be an accurate representation of the full game. Second thing is like I said in a earlier post the graphics like in most game in this genre usually take a back seat to game play and the shear amount of content. Also the amount of weapons and promised quest will really make the company have to make some sacrifices somewhere. I for one will wait and see how this game plays along with how good the multi player is as well. If they can pull off the voice chat and flawless connection then this might be a great game.

complaining about graphics in this game is like complaining about how Skyrim looks worse than Crysis 2. It's just silly.

As well as the daily challenges will this have paid DLC, such as new classes? I'd like to see more classes added so when you beat it with the first 4 classes you can buy more! (I'd hope they would come with a save file, so we don't have to delete older characters.)

I'm not worried about gameplay after that, I'm worried about the cutscenes. When he needed to put the mouthpiece on the giant shell he just stood their while the sounds played. I hope this is fixed by launch.

Are we 100% sure this isn't a Gameloft game? It looks like a Gameloft game, it sounds like a Gameloft game. The gameplay footage from the videos I've seen is the same kind of clunky generic stuff that makes Gameloft games Gameloft games.

I don't think I'm going to bother with this. Sony has a game called Ruin coming anyway.

What? A GAMELOFT GAME!?! This game looks amazing! Sure a little clunky but it's in development so of course it's going to look like that. I think it's shaping up to be a great RPG possibly even by home console standards, and is in no way a crappy $4.99 Gameloft game.

I'm looking forward to this. I don't have a PS3 or Vita to get Ruin anyway.

I'm just waiting for a concrete release date.

You do realise that this close to release date, what you see is pretty close to what you're getting?

I'll be specific: This game looks like the assets and combat engine from Hero of Sparta thrown together into a bigger game.

Funny you mentioned that it looks like a GL game, Waltz. Said the same thing myself a few times. Still looks like it might be fun though.
