And this is indeed where I go dark. I haven't commented much in this thread, but I have been following it. It's a shame that the game is being leaked already, but unfortunately that's harder to avoid in this day and age.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
Sigh... Special edition isn't on amazon any more. Hopefully it's restocked soon. Soon as I have money for it it's gone. Typical!

I'm really loving how the game is looking and the animated scenes are looking great! Getting close to the end of my Gaiden playthrough and despite the obvious signs of it's age, there is a lot that I enjoy from playing it!
A little over a month left for the western release and I should have Gaiden done by then.
This really isn't much of a spoiler (as it's from the very start of the game and something that was kept from the original Gaiden), but I'll tag it anyway for those who want to be 100% dark on stuff (those of you who know why Celica leaves on her journey can probably guess this): The stuff with "Ghost Celica" is part of her prophetic dreams that lead her to leave the Monastery.
As for the second video, they're clearly in pre-release hype mode because that's the 3rd and final credits theme they're playing. (Only music spoilers)
And finally: that's a nice Triangle Attack animation. Shame it got nerfed to only giving +30% crit.

@Frosty_09 Can confirm Echoes' OST is the best of the handheld games, and has probably the best final map theme in the series (the original was great despite being a 50-second 8-bit loop). Some have even gone so far to call it the best OST in the series.
Awakening's felt really eh and experimental (with switching between different versions of the same songs when entering combat); Fates' was better with the more varied instrumentation, but that also proved it's greatest weakness on top of overly relying on leitmotif. To quote somebody, "Echoes's OST sounds self-assuredly epic."

@Shiki_No_Uta Well this is a 3DS game, Nintendo Life articles are focused towards Switch nowadays. The Zelda update article didn't even mention Wii U despite the update coming to both systems for example.
If this was a Switch game a big article for sure would've appeared .
@Frosty_09 I got the Special Edition of Fates, so I'm actually not stuck with a digital version of Revelations. The diverging campaigns sounded really cool. I'm thinking about selling it, though, as I didn't really fall in love with any aspect of Birthright/Conquest (Birthright came off as a more balanced yet much less memorable version of Awakening, and Conquest had good map design but a horrendous script; both games had forgettable characters). What makes Revelations not worth the playthrough, in your opinion?
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
Revelation is basically a best-of-both-worlds as you can now recruit characters from both the Birthright/Conquest campaigns, and you have the flexibility/grinding capability of Birthright coupled with the added difficulty of Conquest (making Revelation a comfortable middle ground in terms of difficulty). It's a lot less interesting though as it feels like an extension of the previous campaigns, as opposed to a fully realised experience in its own right. I haven't progressed very far into Revelation yet, but if you haven't fallen in love with Birthright/Conquest, then Revelation definitely won't change your mind.

I don't understand why they don't opt for British or other non-American accents for games like these. It clashes horribly with the style and tone of the games.

@Frosty_09 Apparently it's in the game files, but not currently present (there are rumors saying it's there after you beat Hard, but they've been confirmed not true). Since Normal actually gets moderately challenging, it seems that Hard is effectively Lunatic anyway (especially from the difficulty complaints about it).
