In Banjo there was 100 music notes in every world and 10 puzzle pieces. Not to mention Jinjos, Cheato pages, Honeycombs and a few other things I can't remember. You have to repeat alot of those worlds too. DK 64 gets dogged all the time for the collectable overload but Nobody says that about Banjo. Wasn't DK 64 just a Banjo game with DK thrown in to make it sell better? Sure felt that way to me.

Speaking as a guy who's played Banjo-Kazooie through in one sitting, with the exception of two worlds, Gobi's Valley and Freezeezy Peak, all the worlds can be visited and completed in one trip. as I already said, the exception is Gobi's Valley and Freezeezy Peak, you need the skill from one to complete the other (meaning that you need to either visit FP to get the skill and go to GV and finish that before finishing FP or vice versa), but the rest of the levels in the game can be a one time trip in and out. Anyway, I digress, my point is that you can beat every world in BK except one of those two in one trip in.

Plus, BK has 10 jiggies, 100 notes, 5 jinjo's, 2 honeycombs, mumbo tokens per level. DK64 has 25 golden banana's, 500 banana's, 5 blueprints, banana medals, fairies, and more.

Well to be honest with games like this only the first time is fun. Anytime you play it over again it does feel like a chore. The first time I played Mario Sunshine It was all neat and exciting. Then I tried playing it again and realized I was too bored to finish. Somehow only Sunshine feels that way though. Probably due to those damn blue coins. The Galaxy games are much more replayable. I really only go through DK 64 once every couple years at most.

I go through BK every few months, sometimes more, around the time OoT3D came out, I played through the original and the remake about 20 times in the span of a month, I more or less had no life in June, lol, generally, I tend to replay games a LOT, I've played through the original Mass Effect 5 times, and I'm on my 6th playthrough of Mass Effect 2 (and those are MASSIVE games)
Rare supported the GBA and DS after their move to Microsoft, so there's no reason they couldn't support the 3DS with a remake title of some sort. DK64 isn't so likely, but I'd be interested in a BanjoKazooie 1+2 pack.
This, a million times this, I would pay double, triple, WHATEVER! All for this, best games ever in 3D and remade? I CANNOT SAY YES ENOUGH!!!!!!!
Microsoft will probably say no

I don't understand why people want the 3DS to be known as the remake system.

I don't understand why people complain that there's no original content coming for it even though numerous developers confirmed original content on the horizon

Looking at the games coming for 3DS, there's more original games than remakes (3 remakes and 3 ports from what I know of). There's a video on youtube that shows 60 games- a little more than half I never seen before. And a good chunk that may not even get localized

I think the main complaint is that most of the biggest titles on 3DS are either ports or remakes

This. I just went down the list of current 3DS games, and I spotted about 7 enhanced ports (maybe a few more, I wasn't sure about some). Take those off the list, and the software library looks like crap.
Enhanced ports seem perfect for a system's launch, because don't require as much time an effort as something new. The game is already there, it just needs to be polished. If it's a game I already have, there's no reason for me to buy it again. If it's a game I've never played, then I might be interested. Of course, that's what Virtual Console is for, isn't it?
