Hey since nobody here is going make a topic about this game i might as well be the first go to http://www.cubed3.com/news/22773 also what is your thoughts on the article? Btw this game looks really familiar like a series I play before on the gba made by Nintendo and Camelot.
So far im not very interested on the sequal theirs nothing that makes me really excited about it but I will still most likely get it since I enjoyed Bravely defult wich I still need to complete :/
I know the world renown martial art Shaq Foo
was TheKungFuMaster got demoted to Batchu then evolve to MercifulLemon7
I come back and make my mark and dispear again.
Anyone watched the demo gameplay yet? I'm not sure how I feel. Other than changing up the classes, there doesn't seem to have been much innovation in the core gameplay. I suppose this is a 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' sort of thing.
What really struck me was the music. Talk about a huge downgrade...
"At this year’s Jump Festa, it was revealed that Bravely Second will have a new class: the Cat User. The new character that holds this class is Minette Goroneze, who is an Asterisk Holder. The Cat User job class specializes in brass knuckles and axes. One if the abilities that the class has are the “Cat High Arts.” This takes two items, and summons a pair of cats to execute powerful moves. What cats appear depends on the items used. There are also the “Cat Arts,” with the following moves being confirmed: “Consume,” “Slugger,” “White Window,” and “Book Burning.” “Nenneko” makes all enemies fall asleep, while “Lie Down” raises physical and magical defense. There was another move called “Dig,” though the effect of the ability was not clarified. Also revealed was the Astrologist class, of which nothing is known."
It's too bad the guy that wrote Steins; Gate isn't involved with this game. Chapters 5 - 8 were kind of awful, but the finale was mind-bending and awesome in a way that I haven't experienced from an RPG in years.

Have you beaten BD yet?
I have not, nor have I finished about half my rpg's lol. Too time consuming. I can however say I could be done with Fantasy Life. All I really need to do is finish the last tower and those special requests. Still have yet to do 4 lives but I'm happy with my game time.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

I'm almost a hundred hours in. Mastered all the lives, and gotten legendary in 3 of them. Working on my fourth legendary at the moment.
I've made myself a new rule that I have to at least finish the story of one JRPG before starting another. I'm tired of completing a game 3/4 of the way through and then dropping it for something else. Actually went back and finished Ghost Recon recently. I just dropped the difficulty to Normal to make it easier, as, until the last few missions, I did everything on Hard.

I'm getting there! It's astonishing to me how that game didn't really get amazing reviews. Jeremy Parish recently wrote a great article about this, in fact. At this point I think Fantasy Life might overtake Bravely Default as the #1 most-played game in my 3DS library (around 105 hours, if I'm not mistaken).
Speaking of which, of course I'm excited for Bravely Second - when I dedicate 100+ hours to a game, that generally means I'll be all over possible sequels.

I'm not sure any one game will overtake the amount of time I invested in Animal Crossing, but Fantasy Life is close to topping my BD time, which is also above the hundred hour mark.
Apparently the subtitle End Layer has some hidden meaning as well, much like in the first game where Where the Fairy Flies changes halfway through the game to Airy Lies.
The more jobs the better. Square will never run out of ideas no matter how crazy they get. I'm all for it and many more crazy jobs they can think of as long as exotic dancer don't make it in of course.
