Hey guys, I have a bit of an issue. So, my Animal Crossing: New Leaf is all nice and pre-ordered at Gamestop right now. I've got a 5$ deposit on it. Unfortunately, due to my brother mixing up times, I found out that I can't pick it up tomorrow because I am going to be out of town from 9:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night, and I'm almost certain that completely eliminates the window of picking it up.
I understand that this game is very suited for download play (no card swap, et cetera) so I was thinking about downloading it, and switching my 5$ over to my pre-order of Game and Wario (making it a 10$ deposit). I worked out some pros and cons for doing this.
Pros: Get to play the game on Sunday by downloading it in the morning (every other day for the next two weeks I'm busy with school since exams are coming), have it downloaded to avoid card swap and play it when I please (and continue playing DK Country Returns 3D, which I haven't completed yet), can bring it and another game when visiting friends without having to worry about two game cards (this goes the same for travelling and vacations).
Cons: Don't get the game box or physical card, takes up space on SD Card (8GB, but half is used already), my brother can't add a resident to the town (if we had a card he could put it in his 3DS and play, but I don't want him using my 3DS), the hassle of switching my 5$ to another pre-order (will they even let me do that?)
What do you guys think? Should I go download, or get it on Monday but not get to play it for a few weeks due to homework and school work? And also, try to take that other stuff into account. Thanks.

If you don't mind waiting to play it, buy retail.
If you want to have a case to add to your collection, buy retail.
