Topic: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Thread

From what i've heard and read, the multiplayer is going to focus on the island that you can go take tours on. Supposedly there'll be around or more than 48 mini games to participate in either solo or with friends.

Then there's the Dream thingy and maybe other stuff too...

@Gustoff I heard about that, and it sounded interesting, but I was kinda hoping the multiplayer would make it's way into the main game. It'd be interesting to have an influx of people in your town on vacation, or checking out other stores.

Is anyone else planning on uploading and updating their town to the Dream Suite on a regular basis? You get 5000 bells each time (even though that's a low amount afterwards...).

Yes, I do. Don't know exactly how it's going to work but yes, I plan to do everything in the game I can.

Does anyone know if the game'll have multiple files? My Mom also wants to play this game! We might end up getting two copies! XD

You might want to invest in another 3ds as I don't see that going over very well. Sounds like a a headache to me.

@Gioku I would suggest getting a second copy instead of just one.

You can have up to 4 people in the same village, why would you need more than one copy?

That's what I was thinking. But then I was like, they might fight each other on who gets to play xD.

but yeah there's 4 slots, but only one person gets to be the mayor.

Hence the reason I said pick up another 3ds. It might start out harmless for their mom but I can see her getting addicted!

But I guess it must be more fun to have other players on your town than to be forever alone

I haven't played Animal Crossing in my life. To me it seemed like a slightly girly game, but these trailers and the Inside the Treehouse series has gotten me hooked. The level of interaction with your neighbors and with your 3DS friends seems to awesome. I'm purchasing it day one and hope to get some New Leaf friends to play with. Yeah City Folk I couldn't stay into very long...I think this series is better on handhelds. Anyways I enjoyed Wild World, was debating on whether or not skipping this one after the Wii game. Was wondering, are you able to sell your stuff to others? Like, in the past you just sell it to the shop...heard that it works a little different here. Would be cool to have like a little shop of your own for Spot Pass or soemthing.
