Shops are closed and my back hurts. Guess that means that's all for me for tonight. My fountain will be finished in the morning and I'll be able to go to the island! ^.^ Can't wait.

When shops close that doesn't stop me from playing in fact i play it more at night. Can't wait for the night owl ordinance to take effect XD

Anyways, I'm off for a night stroll around my town now. I hope I can run into some tarantulas and scorpions. >

Here's a little tip for all of you guys that need help earning bells:

Visit the island as soon as you unlock it.. Once there, all of your belongings are kept back at town so it reduces the cluster in your pockets. There's a bin where you can store up to forty bugs, fish, and fruit. The gyroid outside offer you equipment to rent and use on your little getaway. Don't collect fruit or fish unless you need the fruit for your town. The only time you should fish is when you see a fin in the water which determines there is definitely a shark present (hammer shark- 8,000 bells, shark- 15,000 bells, whale shark- 13,000 bells, saw shark- 12,000 bells, and the sunfish- 4,000).

Okay, so you need to pull out your net and circle around the island in a slow, cautious motion. Clock-wise. Four insects are always present on the island. The stag beetles and moths that inhabit the normal trees, should be scared away so the bigger beetles on the banana trees can respawn and be caught. The beetles on the banana trees include:

• Horned elephant (8,000 bells)
• Horned atlas (8,000 bells)
• Golden stag (12,000 bells)
• Cyclomutos stag (8,000)
• Goliath beetle (6,000 bells)

Bottom line: Don't collect any fish (unless they're sharks), don't collect butterflies (collect and let them go so beetles respawn. Otherwise they're 2,500 each), and scare the beetles and other inscects off of the normal trees so rare beetles respawn.

I have nearly a million bells in my deposit with an average of 240,000 bells earned each visit. _{It's crazy!}

I got this game last night and really didn't get started playing til about an hour ago; Loving it though. I just wish there was an easier way to change your skin tone. I can understand where it's made but when a game releases internationally involving a character that is supposed to be a virtual version of yourself, you'd expect an option to be there. Tanning just ain't the same(a little hassle at that) and you can't wear other head accessories when using a mii mask, correct?

With the Night-Owl Ordinance Re-tail opens at 9am and close at 2 am (｡♥‿♥｡)

Last night, I signed the Keep [Town Name] Beautiful Ordinance into law. I'll see what it does and how it works out...

Anyone I know who has downloaded the game instead of getting it physical?

I have some questions about the Island. On your first trip can you take friends with you? and how many times can you visit per day?

My problem is, my best times to play have been before they open, and after they close... Not sure which ordinance to go with (plus they are 20,000 bells!)

There is no limit to how many times you can visit the island in one day, as far as I know.

With Night owl they close the 3 hours later than usual, so I assume early bird is 3 hours behind.

The Early Bird ordinance makes it so that shops open 3 hours earlier while closing at normal time, while the Night Owl ordinance makes it so the shops open at normal time while closing 3 hours later. The same applies for villagers, too.

My first project is complete a bridge ^_^ I use to have to cross the entire town to get to Re-tail now its practically next door to me. It was early so only my neighbor Deena came. I don't think she ever sleeps. XD
