stop, stop, my wallet is dead
Wish they'd make an improved sequel or spiritual successor or whatever to Dust so I could play that!
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is also 50% off for only $29.99.
Holy cow! That discount for Mario + Rabbids is heftier than John Goodman's chins!
Pick up ARMS if you haven’t yet! Such an underrated gem!
Ah, the problem with being an early adopter...already have all the games I want on this list. Great time to be a new Switch owner though!
They just had $20 sale for Mario and Rabbids on Eshop last week. So, I could have waited and gotten a better deal? Unless the season pass is also on sale, I will be irritated.
@Dman10 Yes! A season pass sale would be nice... they discount the base game and the gold edition all the time, but never the DLC.
Namco Museum is listed as a discount, but have they not released Namco Museum Arcade Pac yet? I can't seem to find it in the eShop.
These sales are a whole lot better than we're used to from Ntineod, thats' for sure.
Would like to see the occasional DLC on sale as well though. Or at least be consistent and put the bundles on sale. Splatoon 2 w/ Octoling DLC is still $80, making the $20 DLC cost $40. Starlink Deluxe is still $80, but there is almost nothing more in it than the regular edition which is now $50 cheaper. Lego DC Villians is the only one that is priced correctly, it's $30 and $45 for the bundle which includes the $15 DLC. Not a DLC sale, but one stop shopping at least.
We got 4 Switch games for Christmas so we're good for now, and Yoshi is pre-ordered, but it's a nice sale none the less.

That huge discount on Mario + Rabbids is tempting. Would I like the game considering I'm a big Fire Emblem nut?
Ubisoft, have a little self respect. You throw yourself out there like a cheap sludt way too easy.
@rjejr What's weird is they put Starlink Deluxe on sale for Christmas but not the standard edition.
I'm conflicted between Shining Resonance and Mario + Rabbids.
ARMS and Sushi Striker are still overpriced, but Mario + Rabbids at this price is a steal!
@Arcamenel You can’t go wrong with Mario + Rabbids, especially at this price.
Might go ahead with the double-dip on Mario Kart 8 now.
Capcom Beat Em Up bundle, was just waiting for an excuse 😋
@IceClimbers Yeah I think I remember that. The price on this game has been dropping so fast I'm seriously holding out for it to be $12.48 on clearance at Target. And if it isn't, well no harm done, not a priority by any means. Right now I'm trying to play all of my PS+ games before my membership runs out next month. I'm not renewing until they tell us what will be replacing the PS3 games in April. I still play some of those as well. And all those Switch games we got for Christmas, still haven't' so much as done a week free trial of NO, we have enough gamers in house.
Blossom Tales looks like a fun game.
Mario + Rabbids and Valkyria Chronicles 4 are two of the best games on the system, and you can acquire them both for less than the cost of a single new game.
Personally, I'm tempted by the sale prices of HW:DE and Octopath.
Yeah I'm going with Mario + Rabbids. I feel bad that my bf got it last week when it was just the base game discounted.
Mario Rabbids is my favorite Switch game. I recommend it highly, and I typically never even enjoy turn-based games.
How is iconoclasts? Heard some good things but this one must have slid under my radar
Plenty of quality titles to go around. I'll probably grab the Beat em up bundle and possibly VC4. I usually do physical, but VC4 is way cheaper here than on cart.
Note to self: never pay full price for a video game. Just bought Mario Kart 2 days ago. Argh.
Are sales like this very common for Nintendo? I just got my Switch for Xmas.
@Giygas_95 As a fellow Fire Emblem nut I can honestly say yes Mario rabbids is famtastic.
@Giygas_95 It's a must-have in my opinion.
@humbucker No. Nintendo in the past never did sales on their popular titles this is a new thing actually.
@Paddle1 ahh cool. despite my timing, that’s good to know and to hear. thank you!
@Alisamus @Sawdy That's good to know. Now if only I weren't busy with a third play through of Blazing Blade...and planning a playthrough of Binding Blade afterwards...and planning to get NSMBUD and The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human. Arrrrrgh.
Gunman Clive for a pound? I can't say it's a bad deal, but it's not what I'd expect from this sale, considering the region. XD
@Retr0gamedad It's... decent. The narrative and character development are unusually ambitious for a side-scrolling indie platformer. Also, the pixel art is beautiful and detailed. With that said, the plot kind of falls apart by the end, and I have certain issues with the gameplay.
It's still a pretty good time, though. And not too short. I spent over ten hours with it, at least.
Hello LEGO games!
Finally got Mario kart! And with my gold points I saved an additional 10 bucks sweeeeeet
I'm definitely picking up Professor Wright Ace Attorney. It's about time I got into the franchise!
Nothing for Wii U, then?
No money left for me this week. Already picked the Mario + Rabbids last week. Sad, the VC4 and Shinning Resonance would be nice.
No you won't stop me from importing certain games from Japan! I got Medabots 9 Rokusho from Japan and I was lucky enough to get a Metal Slime New 2DS LL for Christmas! I know! And Nintendo Life I'm not giving you news tips! There's Medabots being made for Nintendo Switch. If it's not going to be in English I am going to import it! Mark my words! I am a two months fan of Medabots and enjoy it very much! Why should I tell you when? You're journalists; do your research! I am not a collector! Yes I do collect but it's because recently I become a fan of Medabots after playing Medabots last month. And now I have my second Medabots game and it's awesome! No one can stop me from enjoying what I want to enjoy. And neither will you!
@Leuke @Dman10 The complete edition with all DLC had a huge discount on Black Friday. I bought it for $ 31.99
Oh and I got Digimon Universe on its way to my lovely mail box
Imagineer fiscal year
Me: Okay, there's nothing you need for the next couple of months. Backlog time!
Sees articles for sales pop up online
Also me: ..... Slowly pulls out crying wallet

Excellent choices right here. I’m almost certain I’ll take a bite of something before this sale is over. I have my eyes on Super Mario 3D Land, Blossom Tales, and Wizard of Legend. I’d totally go for Mario Kart at that price but I want that in physical form.
Nobody’s gonna read that list
Just got 3D Land today with this sale, I had been eyeing it since I got a New 3DS XL last year. I was about to get Yoshi's New Island, but it didn't get very good reception. Sushi Striker... Undecided on that one.
For Switch I may get Shining Resonance, Capcom Beat'Em Up and/or Iconoclasts. I can easily recommend Mario + Rabbids, Dust, VC4, ARMS, Splatoon 2 and Hyrule Warriors to anyone who may be curious about them.
@MH4 Maybe for under $20. That game isn't worth a penny more.
@Porky I think it is physical only.
Talk about first world problems! Every game on the list that I would like, I already have. XD
This is a real nice selection though!
And here I am just now buying Mario Kart the day before it goes on sale.....oh well, I regret nothing, though I wonder if I could beg Nintendo for $19 in eshop credit!? XD
Was kind of hoping the pre-order for Super Mario Bros. Deluxe would be on sale as well but I guess that's expecting a bit too much. Still decent sale overall though.
@waluigifan1 I paid $60 on launch day and it was worth every cent.
I thought they had forgotten about you guys.
Yesterday I got Medabots Infinity for GameCube mailed in! This is awesome! Gonna play it soon!
I also got a Rokusho model kit this past weekend and put it together the same day!
Yeah that's I'm Rokusho's Medafighter! And I named him after my Digimon partner v-mon!
Now I have three Medabots games: my first one for my first gba (yes i got me gba to play this) medabots 3DS and Medabots GameCube!
Now I'm waiting for my Digimon Appmon game to get mailed in and I'm waiting for news for Medabots Switch!
This convinced me to finally pick up Just Shapes & Beats. So far really enjoying it!
I know there is Medabots Switch being made! And even if it's not in English I am going to import it. I DON'T CARE HOW THE WORLD IS WATCHING ME! I know it's coming! Go make fun of me! Try to insult me with your targeting ads towards me! Medabots is making a comeback and I know it! I know it's going to take time and I understand! But I know it's coming!
So I linked my Medabots gba game on my wii and it unlocked some Medabots for 2 player mode. there's a whole bunch of them.
Dude I love Medabots! Natsume or Imagineer; doesn't matter!
@baller98 hey thanks for the tip!!
Hey can I get a genuine opinion on Flinthook on the switch. It looks solid but I'm hesitant to pull the purchase trigger because the studios other games have left me feeling mixed. I loved Ninja Senki but hated Curses n Chaos. I thought Mercenary Kings was a mediocre run and gun game that overcomplicated and ruined the run and gun formula.
I know it's a roguelike platformer and I heard it's alright. I just wanted some second opinions. I'm not trying to get burned again.
Culdcept revolt is a steal at that price. If anyone is still using their 3ds and wants a great mix of Magic the Gathering meets monopoly, I highly recommend Culdcept Revolt!
So mad because I bought the rabbids one without DLC a couple of days ago :<
The Starlink deal finally got me to pull the trigger on the starter set. I was a little upset about the 75 dollar price, since all of the game wasn't on the cart. But at 30 dollars, it's worth it for the figures and being able to play the game before they shut down the servers. Got me my arwing figure, finally.
Also snagged Dead Cells, pro controller/joy-con recharging dock, the Skylanders DK/Bowser sets, and two AC amiibo bundles. All for good prices. Considering cutting my food budget a bit short this month to pick up Arms and a few others while they're on sale.
