Well going to be another long boring weekend for sure. Might as well play me some SNK and Sega Genesis collection this weekend then.
For me, The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human! I was scrolling through the coming soon page on the eShop the other day, and the title instantly had me intrigued. Then I saw the game had pretty good reviews on other platforms and looks fun, and since I love aquatic stuff and Metroidvanias, it seems right up my alley.
I’m gonna do The Aquatic Adventures game. I’ve read pretty good things about it and I dig the setting. I am tiring of the pixel art games, but I hear it’s really well done. I’ll give it a try
Played the demo for that Fitness Boxing. Wasn’t bad, I might get it after reading the review as well. King of Fighters 2002 came out last week so I’m sure the Neo Geo game will be different this week.
Nothing for me this week. But that's alright, I can handle going a week without buying a new game. Lol
Nothing this week for me.
Next week is all Tales of Vesperia and New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe though. Til then, I'll be finishing up Xenoblade 2 Torna
@Gen0neD i don't know if it is an age thing, but back in the NES and SNES days, it wasn't called pixel-art it was just art. And it gave me enough variety that I didn't think anything else was necessary in video games
Well, I should be able to catch up on my backlog for the foreseeable future...
so, lots of shovelware? No wonder I don't see anything of value.
Just Tales of Vesperia for me this month, then nothing until we get actual fracking release dates from Nintendo for DxM, Fire Emblem, and Animal Crossing
A bunch of games I've never heard of.
I kind of want the Fitness Boxing but I have too many new games and not enough time to play them so I should restrain from buying more until I play through some of them.
Nothing for me until NSMBU comes out.
Thank GOODNESS for a slow week. Just the break I needed. If I could, it would've been Fitness Boxing, but that'll have to wait for now.
I read Catastronauts as Castranauts and thought it was a game about eunuchs in space. 😂
@rjejr
That would have been an instabuy!
Nothing for me. Isn't Fighter's History the Street Fighter 2 clone released by Data East back in the 90's?
@Al_Godoy I’m 45 and I’ve been playing since Pong and have no intentions of stopping. So it’s not an age thing. I just want more higher tier offerings for my Switch. I have the other two systems and it makes me sad that I have to count/wait on Nintendo specifically to give me higher quality games. Until then, pixel art and shovel ware with a few diamonds in the rough. Shout out to Platinum for Bayonetta though, a true modern day classic
been playing the Fitness Boxing demo and it's definitely something I want. Will probably be my next game purchase
Is Fighter's History remembered other than the Street Fighter knockoff Capcom unsuccessfully tried to sue off the market?
Love the look of The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human however it's only $1.00 on steam. I don't mind small surcharges for certain games, however it's silly they would have such a large difference. I will wait until they put it on sale down the line
Oh great, another year of announcing last weeks Arcade Archives game this week. Fudgity fudge fudge!
Nothing for me this week. I am waiting for Tales of Vesperia.
Slow games week, but I still have tons of games to play on Switch.
@Gen0neD valid point. If they do bring more high-tier games I could sell my PS4. Right now it is still necessary for the highest quality games. The Switch in 2018 doesn't have anything that even comes close to the visual delight of God of War.
Yikes! What a clunker to start off 2019. 🤮
Next week can’t come fast enough. Looking forward to playing Tales & Mario Bros.
@Dazza Slight typo in the description of Kof 2002. " In this tame, the “Striker System” is replaced by creating teams for the comeback of the “3-on-3 Battle Mode”. " should be game instead of tame.
Keep up the great work on the site! Just wanted to leave a friendly tip
Sigh.....No 3DS love again. Back to the Wii to play We Love Golf online this weekend. Maybe some Animal Crossing City Folk online
