Wacky advertising crossovers are all the rage in Japan - we've already seen Mario hopping into a Mercedes, for example - and now it's the turn of Capcom's Street Fighter, which features heavily in this commercial for the Toyota C-HR.

The clip uses graphics from the 1991 arcade smash hit Street Fighter II, with Ryu hopping into the aforementioned automobile before driving through the various levels and facing off against lead antagonist M. Bison (or Vega as he is known in Japan - M. Bison was the original name for the boxer Balrog, a name which intentionally sounded like Mike Tyson, but Capcom decided to change the naming of the bosses for the global release to avoid any issues).

We think this is an incredibly well-done commercial - it's a shame we don't get more of this kind of thing in the west. Let us know your thoughts by posting a comment.
