Just earlier this week, it was announced that the SteamWorld Collection would be coming to North America on 1st November. Not only would it offer up a chance to have both of the latest SteamWorld games in a physical disc, but up until now, that was also to be the first chance that North Americans would have at playing SteamWorld Heist on the Wii U. Fortunately, the digital version has finally gotten a release date nailed down in the region, and it's due out a couple weeks earlier.

Nintendo's website recently updated with the information, listing the game for a 20th October release. This lines right up with the usual Thursday store refresh, so it's just a matter of two weeks until we get to try it out in HD. We absolutely loved this game on either platform, but particularly praised the update visual experience in the home console version.
