There's been a channel on my Wii for a while called, "???" and the icon for it is just a question mark. I know that it's WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Should I just delete, ignore, or play it?
I'd try playing it before deleting it. come on, where's your sense of adventure? :3

Take it out to dinner and try to bring it up casually as part of the conversation.
If you know what it is, what is the problem? Just play it if you want to play it, or delete it if you don't.
The problem is that I don't want to damage my Wii. There's obviously something wrong if the channel isn't acting right and I don't want to risk anything.

If it's got a visual icon and a name (even if that name is '???'), then it's obviously been error-handled - that is, the Wii hasn't recognised it but it has a bunch of things to do in such an event. In [ultra watered-down] lamen's code, the Wii does roughly this when loading the channel icons: If app loadable -> Set title to app_title Set icon to app_icon If app not loadable -> Set title to no_title Set icon to no_icon
If it didn't have the ability to handle errors, then the Wii would just crash whilst loading the channel list (tries to load icon, can't load icon, OH GOD WHAT DO I DO NOW, [crash]), so it's nothing fatally dangerous. Presumably, it'll also disable the 'Start' button and show a full "channel not recognised" message when you click on it along with the usual recommendations that you delete and redownload the channel, ensure you only get your channels from the Wii Shop, and call tech support if the problem persists. The usual spiel. Nothing dangerous will come out of clicking it unless Nintendo have made a serious oversight when coding channel loading (and think of developers. When they're developing a game, they don't want some unfinished faulty code to brick their dev Wiis every single time they load their game). So yeah. Check it out if you're curious, delete and redownload if you don't really care.

You win about a million Shpydar Points* for using "ORO???" XD
*cash value of 1 Shpydar Point = .00000000000000000000000000001 of a shilling. Points are non-transferable, non-redeemable, non-edible, non-flammable and are filled with a strange glowing substance which fell to Earth, presumably from Outer Space. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.

This actually happened to several of my channels a while back. The Check Mii Out Channel, Super Metroid and Kirby 64. I couldn't play any of them, though. So I deleted them, redownloaded and they worked fine.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
