http://maxandthemagicmarker.com/demo/ Play it now, this game is AWESOME! Kinda sad its not a retail release, with the effort PressPlay has put into this game it would be an essential Wii title. Can't wait for the full release next week!

You played the demo yet, I really can't believe how good this game is! The physics are spot on even on the demo. 2D platformers are back with a vengeance on the Wii and I'm loving every minute of it!

I really like the demo. But I hope there's gonna be a demo on the Wii, too since drawing with the remote is probably way harder (I can't even draw a straight line in the Photo Channel)
Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

I'm in advertising... And, this is nice, but, from a marketing perspective, it's really sad that developers have to place demos of games on the web and not on the system that the game is actually coming out on.
A demo of this on WiiWare would probably sky rocket the sales of this game. It's REALLY good, but how many people that'll try it will really see it's for WiiWare, even own a Wii, or bother getting it after playing it since it's on another system and what not.
Really this is a criticism at Nintendo. They have the demo service there... What the hell? Why won't they let devs use it?

I liked the demo a lot. Makes me want to get the WiiWare game. I was unsure if it would be a quality game or just a good idea, but it looks like they went all out to make it top notch. The puzzles were pretty clever even though the 'drawing game genre' isn't really a new thing anymore (with stuff like Crayon Physics Deluxe). I hope it does get a WiiWare demo to give it some exposure. But it seems like Nintendo's being pretty stingy with letting developers freely put demos on the service. I'm sure many more developers would like to have demos of their games on the shop channel.

Whoa, slow down there, Saatchi. I've got a few (few too many, that is) years of marketing experience and can say with 100% certainty that it's a lead pipe cinch that more people have Internet access than Wii Shop Channel access, therefore releasing the demo on the web is several orders more effective in exposing the product to the general public than on the Shop Channel alone. ...not to mention that Nintendo has never released a game's demo on the Shop Channel prior to its full version. ...aaaaand there's no saying Nintendo won't release this M&MM demo once the full version hits. ...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the fact that there's even a demo on the web to begin with is more than like 90+ percent of WiiWare titles can boast. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that such a demo exists leads me to believe that this demo will be offered on the Wii Shop Channel before too long.
EDIT: Or, simply, More exposure > less exposure.

At the request of the wonderful moderator Vendetta, I am going to explain why I think this game looks good. When I tried the demo, the game looked like the developer actually put effort into the game and came up with good results. And though I cannot give a thorough review right now because it is just a demo, I can say that the first impressions this game gives me are good.
