Armillo has been delayed past May 12th, but it seems like it has passed the LOT Check now and is at least ready for distribution now. They will have 3-week introductory price for Armillo, as compensation for the delays.
the eShop is doing this weird thing where they release a game or 2 people actually like every week
I'd like that to continue. Though I feel bad (or maybe good depending on the early Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle adopters) for whatever comes out during Mario Kart week.

Well the next game coming is Swords & Soldiers HD, and that'll be only like $3. So most people will very likely be abl to afford both it and Mario Kart 8.
This game was listed in a Kickstarter as a Wii U game, so I asked the developers if the game was still coming and they said that the release window is November 2014. The game is called Roving Rogue and is a 2D platformer that you can play also in multiplayer. Here's a trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeWdqp_GJn8 (This might actually be iDeame U, since the description of the video says something about it)
BTW, Squids Odyssey got a quite good review in the ONM May edition. It scored 75% (compared to the already available Scram Kitty - 90% and Stick it to the Man - 80%).
Considering how i don't know the release date, I'm under the impression that Ittle Dew is gonna be the sacrifice for our Mario Kart God.
But OTOH, any game released after MK8 could also get the attention from new curious Wii U users, looking for more Wii U games?
Btw, when we're now entering a time when lots of indies (and lots of good indies) are getting ready for release, I have a feeling that Nintendo will try to control the number of indie releases each week on the eShop, to create a steady stream.
That would (at least to me) sound like an excellent approach, so each major indie release get good focus on the eShop (and avoid scenarios like releasing 15 indies one week and then nothing for 2 weeks). And I'm curious how VC releases will now appear in the long run: will they release VC titles independently of the number of indie releases, or will there be more VC titles on weeks with few indies?
