Earlier today the Namco title Tales of Phantasia for the GBA was listed on Nintendo's list of upcoming Wii U games: http://www.nintendo.com/games/game-guide/#filter/wii+u|-|-|-|... , with a release date of August 21st, but it was quickly removed. Was this just an error or does anyone have confirmation that the game is going to be released on that date?
This isn't the first time that this has happened and sometimes the game does release on the briefly listed day, while other times it doesn't so I take the brief listing with a grain of salt unless there is any concrete evidence that the game will be released. I really do hope that this game will be released on the Wii U VC service because the real-time battles of the Tales series are unlike anything currently available on the Wii Shop or the Wii U eshop at the moment.
The only Tales game I like is Tales of Phantasia. (I like the combat in it).
If the iOS version supported the Horipad (Which I will be getting as soon as possible) and had a single IAP to put it back to normal I would go for that though. (Looks like a pretty nice version).
Otherwise I will get the GBA version.
