Megamania is considered average by some, but man I played the hell out of that game. Stands up well today though I prefer the Atari 5200 version for the graphics.
The ad is great; you should check out the ad for the 2600 version of Defender; crap port but an excellent ad.
Oh and forget "are you a __ gamer?" the real question should be "are you a lamer?"
I think I am a regular, I mean, I play a lot and look into titles, but i am not much for competitive/online play or having the high score on the leader boards.
I've got the Atari 400/800 version of Megamania for my XEGS system and it's basically the exact same as the 5200 version but without the horrible controller.

Ah, but if you're emulating I find it easier to deal with the 5200 games because they're emulated carts rather than a mix of emulated tapes/carts/floppies. I do play the 2600 original in Activision Anthology on the GBA, however, which is possibly the best value for money GBA game ever.
A lazy gamer, used to repay the same levels over and over until I finished, now with most games having save anywhere features and a lot doing away with lives, I just wont put in the same kind of dedication I used to.
