@RandomWiiPlayer: Read the Wikipedia article. All I've seen so far is a minor graphics glitch in Super Mario RPG.
Are you talking about the flashes? If so, that's not a graphical glitch. Nintendo just changed it slightly for epileptic people.
No. When you battle Jones (the shark boss) with Mario, Peach, and Bowser in your party, try plain-attacking with Bowser. The graphins will be a bit messy.
Agreed that the graphics on SMRPG need some tuning, but I'm still wondering about what happened to Star Fox 64 on my end (Bolse, 200-plus hits, needed only 150, no medal).
The next update better not brick Wiis. That's all I hope for. Sheesh man, I'm scared my own system will brick if I update. (It's not modded and I've had it since the UPS trucks delivered Wiis to WalMart a few at a time.)
DVD's and CD's. Don't expect anything else major thought.
Is that even possible in an update?
I'm pretty sure it's not physically possible for a Wii to read CDs, but a DVD Channel would be pretty awesome (and it is possible to use your Wii as a DVD player via homebrew).

I agree with Starfox, here's what I want: 1. Classic Controller compatibility with GCN games 2. Emulation of the rumble pak for N64 games, using the GCN Controller's rumble feature, as well as an update to Super Mario 64 to give it rumble pak compatible. 3. Same for N64 controller pak, having that data saved into the Wii's internal memory(we'll need this for games like Beetle Adventure Racing). 4. The last 3 that Starfox listed, only instead of displaying the cartride, display a box shot of the game, like what was shown at e3, maybe along with a manual scan!
I think the new update should include all of the VC games free (after all most of them are over 10 years old).
That is unlikely, but it could be cool if they could at least give a couple of good old games for free. At least to get more people interested in the classic games.

Okay, you realize that a DVDROM drive has the same basic components of a CDROM drive, where is you logic on your statement? I am an electronics tech and I work with hardware like this day in an day out.

@OldSchool: I do realize that a DVD-ROM drive has the same basic components as a CD-ROM drive (how else would we be able to have combo drives now?), but while most DVD-ROM drives are indeed backwards compatible, it's not required by the standard(s), and Ninty certainly didn't pay for a Red Book license, so anyone wanting to play audio CDs on their Wii (like me) are pretty stuck. No one using homebrew (softmodding, at least) has gotten the Wii to just read a CD in it yet -- though they're working on PSX emulators, and music players have been created already, those all require .bin or .iso files to work (or individual music files instead of full discs). Even the Gamecube used mini-DVDs instead of CDs of some sort, so chances are they didn't want to pay the rainbow book licensing fees for either disc-based console, which would save them (and the consumer) money for something Ninty didn't want to bother with anyway.
