Topic: What other sports would you have wanted in WSR?

We know the 12 sports in Wii sports resort now. What sports do you wish they had including or believe they should include for the next sequel?

My opinion For me, id say boxing (come on, if they got it right this time it would have been sweet) and also american football. I say football because you could throw with wiimotionplus mote, run by shaking nunchuck and wiimote up and down, dodge/deke with analog on nunchuck and tackle by shaking the wiimote and nunchuck as u run into someone. Wouldn't that have been cool?

My realistic choice: Foosball. I know it's been done before on Wii, but from what I've read, all attempts have been awful. If Nintendo did it, it might even be better than the real thing; after all, you can't mindlessly spin the Wii remote unless you throw it into the air, which seems impractical. Not that that's a legal move to begin with, but too many people do it anyway. Sigh.

My fantasy land choice: Footbag. Not only would Resort come with M+ but also patented Wii Rubber Bands to hold the remote to your leg. Awesome.

I'd pass on Wii Sports Football. I don't think team sports are a good fit to Wii Sports. Baseball was probably my least favorite in the original.

Also, I'm surprised there isn't a volleyball game for a resort-themed game. But mostly I'm satisfied with frisbee and ping pong, two of my favorite sports (if you count frisbee as a sport). I'd have been happy if it were just these two games plus bowling and golf.

Baseball. An honest and fair update with enhanced control.

Also, as silly as it may seem, I wouldn't mind some sort of cosmic theme to bowling. The bowling alley is rather bland.

Some football and baseball mini games would have been cool.

I wouldn't want anything more than mini games though. Asking for an entire football and baseball game around Wii Motion Plus and including it with Wii Sports Resort would be a little ridiculous.

Uh, chief... Bowling is already in Wii Sports Resort.

And to answer your question: No.

A bad habit of yours is to call people 'chief' all the time in a sarcastic way. Should we start calling you 'cap'n' or 'commodore'?

As far as this topic - well I think I have to play the game first! Who knows what I will or will not like, I tink everyones experience will be different... Glad Golf and BOwling are returning - they were my favorites for first game.

IGN: The holiday Wii lineup looks thin for the hardcore crowd. We see this. Gamers see this. What, if anything, is Nintendo planning to address it?

Oh good, I am neither a gamer or hardcore. Saves me from having to be IGNorant.

I wish Tennis with some tropical backgrounds was included. I would love to have with Resort. Also I would like to see Raquetball included

I would have liked to have had miniature golf instead of another regular golf game. Other than that, it's got a lot of cool stuff to do.

Plain old gamer :)

Glad there's no boxing as that was a completely broken waste of time on Sports. Upset there's no tennis, but they have there reasons i guess (motion+ mario tennis please). Baseball needed to return as it was great. I'm also surprised there is no beach volleyball, seems like a no-brainer. Bit of scuba-diving could have been good, EO style, a nice relaxing alternative to sport. Football would have only been half arsed so no point.

And why they didn't combine motion+ with the balance board I'll never know, crazy! Wind surfing would be sooo cool, and a challenge too.

Rawr!

I love it when people call me "chief," though I prefer "master" or "m'lord."

Also, I second Corbie's motion for mini-golf.

Tennis with more modes of play. Mini Golf would've been cool too.

I would have liked to see all of the sports from Wii Sports make a return in Wii Sports Resort.

Want me to go ahead and list all of your bad habits, chief?

One of them is following me around attacking my posts that don't even concern you. But I guess when you have no other hobby...

Anyway, any nickname I use you're going to see in a negative light. So I'm not too concerned with what you don't like.
