Ok, too many people is having a lot of fun with this game, so many that I've been tempted to get it, should I?; at first I let it aside because of it's lack of a full, deep one player mode, but if everybody is gonna keep playing it for some months, I think that would make it up for my money.

So, How long do you think you would be playing it?
In your opinion, Is Water Warfare good enough to keep everyone's attention for awhile?, or the boom will soon be over and the game forgotten and rarely played?

I guess it really depends on the person. I have been surprised that when I go online with it there is always someone else on.

Mmm that's good to know, thanks.

Anyone else wants to put his 2 cents?

Yes, you absolutely should get it.

How long do I think I'll be playing it? Well I've been playing Snowboard Riot for months since its release and still playing it! That's exactly how I feel about this. Online is really good and it's made even better thanks to the variety in the modes. That's the main draw of this game: the online. The single-player experience isn't fantastic, sure, but why would you care as much about that when online is clearly the main draw of the game.

I doubt you'll be disappointed with it. Many have gone in expecting little and have been really surprised with what the game offers. Seriously, get it. 800 is a steal, IMO.

You sound very enthusiastic about it, well I guess that means that I could play this with you for a while ; I'm really inclining to buy it, but I still have to get some wiipoints, so maybe tomorrow, thanks.

I'll definitely be more than happy to face you! Like I said, it's $8 well spent. Just be sure to give me your friend code in the corresponding thread.

Have you added my Wii yet, BTW?

KnucklesSonic8

Twilight_Crow

Yes, I will, thanks again .
Also, yes I have added your Wii, assuming you too, I'm going to check if you're highlighted already, after I finish using internet on my computer.

Yes. Get WW. 2 player local , online with 8 people and lots of ways to play. Create your own character, and Over 30 missions on single player mission mode. So much content for only $8. The only down side is that the graphics are lame (N64 level.) But that doesnt matter. Its better and cheaper than Onslaught.

The graphics are hardly "lame". They get the job done and some of the graphics are quite decent/good. Its the gameplay where the game truly shines as you've touched on.

Woah! 30 missions, I though there were less, kind of like a simple tutorial and thats all, good to know; how long does it take to complete them?

Don't worry, I don't care that much about graphics, unless their absolutely terrible, but it doesn't seem the case.

I assumed you knew about the number of missions. Besides, it's more like 50 I believe, 10 of which are tutorial stuff and a 4 boss fights. Some you'll beat on the first try others are kinda tricky and require more patience. I would go for all Gold Medals if it wasn't for what I heard which was a big bummer for me.

@KS8
Well, the review didn't mention how many missions were there, nor the boss fights, it sounded more like, "you have some missions to complete as training", so in fact the game is deeper than I though, nice.
Mmm? What did you hear?

Well if you really wanna know I heard that getting all Gold Medals does absolutely nothing.
I was pretty disappointed when I read it but at the same time, it saved me the trouble of finding out the hard way just when I started going for the Gold medals more seriously.

Oh! that's silly, but it wouldn't be the first time in a videogame that collecting things leads to nothing. Still, if I found getting them fun enough, I'd do it anyway.

Well, now I'm sure, I'll get this game tomorrow night, and post my FC right away.

Man, that sucks. Sounds like We Ski. I put hours into that game trying to get perfect on every course, and when I did nothing happened. Not even a congratulation for getting every star.

So someone tried getting all golds? I only got the Beach all gold and got nothing for it so far.

Anyway, the missions are pretty short, there's 38 of them including 5 tutorials (I don't count the 6th level in the training area as a tutorial since it's an actual fight) but they take maybe 2 hours to beat. They're just a diversion like the mission mode in Smash Bros.
