Okay so I am saddled with the $20 toys r us gift card they gave me for buying wii resort there, and can't decide what to buy with it. I am a little strapped for cash so my ceiling is $30, however I would prefer a $20 game. Here are the ones I am contemplating:

$20
Star Wars the Force Unleashed -I am a big star wars guy, but I'm still not sure if I'd enjoy this as much as others on the list...
My Sims Kingdom -is this game any good? it seems like something I would like but havent heard much about it
Ghost Squad
No More Heroes -I know people love this game, but it just seems like it doesn't have much depth, am I wrong?
Okami -sounds cool, but I still need to beat Twilight Princess and they seem like the same type game
Resident Evil 4 -Cheaper than 20 on ebay, longer I wait the cheaper it should get right?
Lego Star Wars the complete saga -apparently lego games are fun...i just dont know haha

$30
Pikmin NPC -never played a pikmin game but always wanted to
Quantum of Solace -I love bond games, but already have some i still play on PS2

HELP!!!

Okami was much more fun than Twilight Princess. Lego Star Wars is fun too (especially if you're a big SW fan and you've got someone around to play along with you), but if you haven't played either, I'd be more inclined to tell you to go for Okami first just for game length and the awesome story. No More Heroes is also a good idea (especially since it can be hard to locate), but between Okami and NMH, i'd still say Okami was more fun overall.

Either NMH, Okami or RE4 imho, all classics. Personally I'd go for No More Heroes, cos' Travis rocks! And it'll make you laugh.

MySims - console Sims games are never as good as the PC versions. This is a ripoff of AC.

Indy - had bad reviews. Really bad reviews. And people were whinging on podcasts for a long time about it.

NMH - a love-it-or-hate-it game. If you end up loving it, you'll get way more than $20-worth out of it. People who didn't like it found the fighting repetitive and boring. People who loved it thought the humour was great, the bosses were very unique, and the game was irresistibly stylish.

Okami - almost everyone who plays this game loves it. The people who don't either just find it too long, or, they think the wii controls were poorly implemented and the PS2 version is less frustrating because of it.

RE4 - brilliant. You should play this game before you die. There is so much content - you'll easily get your $20-worth and feel that you away with robbery. You really should buy this game new though, not off ebay.

Animal Crossing CF: if you've played the previous ACs, this will probably be very boring and you'll lose interest fast. Unless your wii is connected to the internet, don't even consider the game. And even then, you may love games "of this type", but it's really not like other life simulation games. It's light-years behind in design. There's extremely limited interaction with objects and house design. Most of your time will be spent fishing and bug-collecting, or just standing around with friends chatting (until you decide that WiiSpeak is too frustrating to deal with and just call each other or use skype to conference-call.) It's a boring but addictive game.

@Strofan
Sims 3 just came out, if you're really hankering for a true sim experience. I'm still on the fence with that one though.

Yup, that pretty much sums up AC. And some genius at Nintendo decided that they'd make your flowers wilt every day, so you have to sign on every day to water your wilted flowers (or every other day, if you water all your flowers at once.) So if you have limited playtime, you'll find yourself quite quickly annoyed with the game. And if you take a vacation... have fun Time-traveling each day that you missed to water your flowers so they don't all die.

It quickly becomes yet another chore on your real-life To-Do list. And then you remember: aren't games supposed to be fun? You know, a break from menial tasks, not more of them? And then you quit.
