There was only two major hacking attacks... One was on PSN by Anonymous (Largest hacker organization in the entire world) and the other was by Geohot, who simply made it possible to run homebrew games. And do you really think that people actually simply stopped getting online after the attack? They paid 300$ for the system and all of the sudden don't want to get online anymore? -_-.
So $300 for a system or lose thousands in stolen credit card info? oh and yes I do think that. You can ask around, alot of people stopped going on.

Okay, you're either trolling, or just REALLY ignorant. This is NINTENDO Life. I'm pretty sure most everyone here prefers the Wii over the 360. And I don't know where you're getting your information, but since the Wii is about twice as powerful as the GCN, I'm pretty sure it's quite a bit more powerful than the XBox, too...
Lots of people stopped using PSN? Really? No one I know has. Sony offered free games as a welcome back gift, and they've made security tighter than ever. Even if you're still scared about your credit card info being stolen, you can always use a PSN card.

Some paranoid people stopped coming on. And that is a very few amount of people. Lol a small group of hackers announced that they had hacked into the Wii's online service, but since they loved Nintendo, (thankfully) they didn't do any damage. They say it was for bragging rights. Okay so the biggest hacker organization in the world VS a small group of hackers who did it for bragging rights...

Do you even know the reason Anonymous hacked the PSN in the first place? It was because Sony doesn't support anything Indie. Why? Because they don't make money off of it. Alot of people still agree with Anonymous.

Nintendo is a gaming company, and so is Sony and Microsoft... There are no target audiences for Nintendo, they appeal to EVERYONE. And the only people who actually care about Nintendo were let down and were forced to go to the PS3/360... Do you really think Nintendo exclusives are the ONLY reason someone would get a console? Nintendo exclusives are great but I would NEVER waste 250$ on a console that's only good games are by Nintendo themselves. If Nintendo had made their console on par with the PS3/360 in terms of power, don't you think some of the best games of this gen such as Red Dead Redemption or Dead Space would be ported? I can think of NO wii game that has any chance against Dead Space. And yes, Wii does have games that compete... What do you call Resident Evil?

Maybe your friend decided to edit an extremely unpopular article. I have seen a couple of articles that very opinion based- Such as articles on dark energy and dark matter- and those aren't looked up very often. And saying that Wikipedia isn't a reliable resource is completely idiotic -_-. The fact that it can be edited by anyone balances everything out. Wasn't your friend's false post deleted?
