Ah, yes. Soon all of America will realize how badly the original Smash Bros. has aged. The characters control is very clunky in camparison to later games in the series, to the point where (correct me if I'm wrong) you can't even turn around while running without coming to a complete stop. It's still playable, but I can definetly see some people regretting their purchase.
Correcting you because you're wrong You don't have to stop to turn, you can dashdance even.
I'm glad that we now have SSB available to us but I'm waiting/hoping for Earthworm Jim 3D
ew.... really? after EJ2, that was SUCH a disappointment... i found it pretty poorly made as a whole. boring, horrible level design, sub-par controls. just bad.

I loved this game when I had it on the N64, but now that I've played its 2 sequels I don't see a whole lot of point in going back to play it again. I think I'll just save the Wii points and go for Star Fox 64 or Super Paper Mario, both of which I NEED to get!!
I actually got all 4 unlocked already. in this order - Ness (unlocks by beating normal with 3 lives and no contiunes), Captain Falcon (unlocks by beating single player fast), Jiggypuff (Unlocks by beating single player), and Luigi (unlocks by completing all break the targets with the 8 original characters).
I take it now that Smash is finally released the most likely choice is either Yoshi's Island, Star Fox, or Rondo Of Blood. Either that or people will intensify wanting the Mario Party games lol.

add Earthbound and Chrono Trigger and FFIV and FFVI to the list, and now we have everybody clamoring for a bunch of games instead of everybody clamoring for one game.
@bro2dragons: Don't forget Kirby Super Stars and Tetris Attack. Yeah, we have tons of games to go before Everyone is satisfied. I'll be completely satisfied once Earthbound and Mega Man VII is released on Virtual Console.

i thought the continuation of the VC was going to be a deciding factor for you in buying the next Big N system. suppose they release those two next year. does that mean no new Ninty consoles for Super Smash Bros. Fan?
