Mr. Zaphod is indeed correct! :o

I'm not too far into Prime 1 as of now (so much for my "fist of an angry god" comment) but I'm thinking that maybe the friend vouchers don't appear until Prime 3. In which case, assuming we all play in order, it will be a while before we actually get to trading with each other. :p

37% into Prime1 and no friend's voucher's yet. I've got everyone added but only see one other person (T-3) in my list when I check it on the Trilogy and the name is greyed out. Apparently it'll turn white when they have some save data according to the text on the screen.

I don't think this works cross-region. Me and my friend Charlie couldn't exchange on Prime 3. Anyway I'm in UK and my code is in my sig. :)

Damn, I was hoping there wouldn't be restrictions like that. We'll have to test it out to make sure. :o If it is true, we can separate out who is which region later on.

Also, I've updated the first post with everything so far. How's everyone doing in their Metroid quests? I'm about to play for a couple of hours, the last time I played I just got the Charge Beam. :3

I'm in the US and I can see you (Dezner) and T-3 only at the moment.

I'm at 38% on Prime1 and I just scored the anti-gravity suit so now I can jump high in water! yay. heh

I'm at 33% and just got the ice beam. Despite it being unbearably slow I have found it is very effective against jet pack pirates.

Beaten MP 1 on Vet, bout to restart on Murdermode. 100% victory, sub-15 hours, good ending.

This packaging is beautiful. The shock value of that phenomenal, hefty case still hasn't gone away.

ok I'll be adding everyone. Don't bother sending it to people whose names are greyed out. It means that they don't have an MP3 save file yet. I'm in Canada.

I'm in Torvus Bog on MP2. Gosh, I forgot how dang nerve-racking the Grenchlers can be. Way worse than the Sheegoths.

Being a n00b, I'm getting my tail handed to me by the pirates in the Phazon Mines of MP1. They seem to move 10 times faster than Samus. How is that fair?

I loved using the Wave beam for the Phazon Mines. Locking onto a target and then hiding while firing the wave beam around the corner was so awesome!

Combat on an alien world, that's one thing I would never expect to be fair. :)

Adding y'all. Still waiting for my Metroid goodness.... :(

I don't! Not for a few days anyway. What made you think I did?

That's not working for me. I'm trying it out in the "Mine Security Station". I peek around the corner, a pirate appears, I lock on (with Z), back up a little so the pirate is no longer visible, and fire the wave. The wave just hits the wall rather than miraculously bending around the corner (something I was really looking forward to seeing). It doesn't hit the pirate until he comes trucking around the corner.

But I'm getting a lot better (on my umpteenth attempt). Keeping the appropriate beam fully charged before encountering the pirate and making sure to hit the pirate with my first shot has really helped. I've cleared the first floor of "Elite Research" and still have full health (energy).

Sorry this is off topic! :D
