How do play without Mario's hat?

Dude to play without the hat Mario will have to gain 99 lives then when you play any level Mario will lose his hat.I wonder how it will affect Toad I here that they only have 1 hair on there head.

@nintendokid nothing happens to toads, or luigi. I got 99 lives for all of them, and it didn't affect anyone except mario.

I'm playing through the game right now, and am currently in world 5. I have all of the star coins in almost all of the levels so far, but I have a few questions.
1.You know the levels where you have to save and carry toad through the level, do those levels keep generating or is there a set amount of times it can happen per world?
2.Can you completely beat the hammer brother stages (or ice brothers, whatever) in world 3, or do they just keep on coming back once you've beaten them.

Also, does anyone know for sure if the super skills videos are of actual human beings playing the game, or did they program a computer do play through the levels perfectly? If that is actually a person playing, then they are a true Mario master!!!

Great videos darzan. You are truly mastered this game! Your unlimited 1ups video from level 2-5 helped me a ton! I would have had a hard time with this game at points, but was able to max out my lives with your video. Thanks!

There also appears to be a similar (and maybe even easier way to get extra lives) at the end of level 4-5 (I think). Check it out and make sure if you want.

I just got done beating this game! Great ending, and the final fight was awesome! I have all of the star coins except 2, but I'll go back and get them tomorrow.
This game was the main reason why I purchased a Wii, and it didn't disappoint.
