I think it is NOT worth it because: 1.DSi browser also exists on DS and Wii and on computers for freethe DS and Wii one are not free 2.2 cameras (.3 mp) are crap compared to cell phone cameras or camera camerasSo? its not like you are just getting a 0.3 mp camera your getting other things too 3.DSiware titles are mostly crapThat is your opinion 4.DSi exclusives titles are non-existentDSiware 5.Plays AAC music files which no-one usesTrue.. 6.Bigger screen which is good... if you're a granny _ You dont need to be old to be able to see things better._ 7.Better sound but everyone uses headphones anyway _ Thats a pretty big assumption there._ 8.Flipnote studios but paper is better _ No, i dont remember paper having a camera or speakers._ 9.More to come which means you couldn't come up with a 9th reason
Yea but the dsi has 16 mb of ram what phone has that? so the dsi has faster internet
Hm, you're right. No phones have 16 MB. After all, the old iPhone has 128 MB and the new one has 256 MB. And the very popular Motorola RAZR (new version) that was put out two years ago has 64 MB RAM and runs a full html browser and has high-speed connectivity.
@Graph: and how often do you carry your DSi around with you? Netbooks are incredibly popular these days (I think the only type of computer that is actually experiencing an increase in sales!) and are so lightweight and small that they easily fit into the briefcase or the backpack. I'd wager that more people have a laptop with them than a DS. People bring their laptops with them to work, to the café, on the plane, to school, to the library - even to the washroom. It strikes me as rather odd to say the laptop isn't portable. And most people listen to music when they run, not surf the internet.
@mastersworddude: well that's certainly better than TC's points, which were all opinionated. But that's really the point isn't it? TC comes up with a list of poorly explained rather weak reasons for the DSi. Someone else can just as easily turn that list into a list of poorly explained reasons against the DSi. If you think my reasons were weak, well, I do what I can with the source material.
And no, it's not my opinion that the titles are mostly crap. Look at reviews. I can take the time to list them for you, but then I charge a finder's fee.
Clickety's right, the current iPhone has more RAM than Wii and DSi combined I believe. DSi will never support YouTube or any complex sorts of flash games, imagine 4x the amount of waiting time on the Wii coupled with tremendous lag. Wait for the next Nintendo handheld, perhaps it will have 32 or 64 MB of RAM.
Also, what the heck is this doing on the Wii board? o_o

Also Target is having a $99 sale on the DSlite. Not that I agree with the above.
Flipnote Studios ID - Jared, aka the person that copies everyones flipnotes and actually gets it to the top of the charts! NOT associated with Jared the subway guy.
