I think it is worth it because:
1.DSi browser
2.2 cameras (3 mp, and .3 mp
3.DSiware titles
4.DSi exclusives titles
5.Plays ACC music files
6.Bigger screen
7.Better sound
8.Flipnote studios
9.More to come

Yeah, the thing that made me buy it was the dsi shop.

I'd say if you had no DS at all, it would be worth it for the bigger screen and better sound, but the cameras, browser, and promise of future DSi-enhanced or DSi-only games are no reason to rush to upgrade, especially if you've got GBA games you enjoy playing.

Yeah, that was originally it, but I realized that wasn't coming for a long time. Dsiware turned out to be good by itself, though.

I don't really play my gba games anymore thats another reason i got my and my DS lite was 5 years old

I think its great! gba games are its only downfall...but with things like Aquia, Flipnote, and other great dsiware titles,you can't really go wrong!

Meh.. I don't really need the GBA slot because I have an sp, and I can migrate for the one minute it takes on my brother's ds.

cams are not 3 mp, but 0.3 mp and playing just aac is not a good thing. really it's the opposit!

If I'm buying a DS (at at this point it seems likely that I will) I'll definitely get the DSLite. Despite all the improvements on the DSi... There's no GBA slot and that just the deal breaker for me... Sure, I could just use my PSP for all my portable GBA needs, but first of all; emulating GBA games eats up battery like crazy and also, I do like to be able to use my carts for something... It's bad enough GB & GBC won't work...
