Topic: Fatal Frame 2 being remade for Wii

It's kinda sad this game was released on the Wii, which most people have moved on from. It deserves far, far more hype than it's getting.

I gave it a perfect score, because as far as I'm concerned, this is still the greatest horror game ever. GET IT PEOPLE.

@LollipopChoSaw The fact that it hasn't even got a release date for America doesn't really help it gain much hype either.
It certainly has been a pretty quiet release, I didn't even realise it was out until the next day.
Oh well, I'm looking forward to getting started within the next few days and if other people decide to skip it then that's their loss.

Because no one is buying Wii games any more (exaggeration, yes, but obvious), there is no hype behind this game at all. It's a pity because this game deserves to be a major release.

How scary is the game?

It's not that I'm easily scared,because I'm not.

Actually the fact it's on the Wii gives it more attention to stand out against the plethora of multi platform releases on the other consoles so it's probably a good thing. Also it plays to the strengths of the wii remote and would have played worse on the other consoles. People are also still buying lots of wii games (the regular sellers like Brawl and Mario party kart etc. I see that a lot on the Amazon best sellers).

Would like to get my hands on it, give me a reason to play the wii again honestly. Skyrim and Starcraft 2 seem to be all I play anymore.

The flashlight is controlled by tilting the wiimote, not pointing at the screen. Far more comfortable way to play.

For the person who asked if it's scary: yes, it's the most impacting horror game you'll ever play.

Good stuff I was waiting for some positive feedback before taking the plunge on this game. Final Wii outing is a survival horror and my first WiiU purchase is one as well (ZombiU) just what the doctor ordered I'm stoked.

These types of games are a niche and are never going to be major release unless they Resdient Evilize it. I’m glad to hear you love it though and maybe that is all you meant by it deserving of a "major release." I think I would enjoy it as well if it ever comes to North America.

So which FF do you consider the best of the 3? Funny enough, i bought a copy of FF2 for the PS2 years back when i planned on actually getting the console itself.

Project Zero 2 is by far the best, imo - I really do think it's the best horror game of all time. It nails atmosphere, plot, exploration and action just perfectly.

Oh, I know. It just sucks. If there was any justice in the world no one would buy the braindead RE games in favour of the intelligent, intense, and darkly beautiful Project Zero games

I found silent hill 2 (shatered memories) really and extremly difficult for me as an average player so I Throw it away.

Those creatures kept catching me every time the nighmare mode starts

To be honest I just found the Nightmare stages just plain annoying,because I kept getting lost.

I have ordered Project Zero,and it has been despatched,and it should be here buy Friday.
I have Spirit Camera to keep be busy till then,and boy what a fun game that is.
