Topic: Conduit Issues

Hi all, I've lurked on this site for about 6 mos now (back when it was WiiWare World etc.) I finally decided to jump in.

I just picked up a copy of Conduit and I'm having some issues. I have never had any problems playing online games in the past (Dr. Mario, SSBB, Tetris, COD:W@W, MOH:H2), but now I cannot connect to the WiFi with the Conduit. It times out 90% of the time without connecting, and times out after I select a regional match the other 10% of the time. Has anyone else had these issues? I'd like to "befriend" some of you and test out my new game on the interwebs, but I can't seem to break through. Any thoughts?

I can access the shop channel, internet channel, and Dr. Mario online, so I know my internet and router are working appropriately.

I'm just amazed that you haven't had any online trouble with SSBB!

Honestly, though, The Conduit didn't work for me at ALL my first night when it came to online play. The room would load, and the game would start, but my screen would be covered with nonsense and I couldn't do anything.

Since then it's worked beautifully. No lag, and reasonable times finding a full room. I think it's a crap shoot. I'd hate to say this, but try it again tomorrow.

I didn't say I never had lag with SSBB or difficulty finding a match!! I just never had connection issues.

I get a black screen and have to reset a time or two and then I can get it to work. I have contacted SEGA,High Voltage and Nintendo. Nintendo told me to contact Sega after I specified to them I had contacted SEGA and High Voltage both. You can go to Youtube if you do not believe me as people are posting videos. Ive never experienced a problem with Madden 09,Cod WAW,Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Water Warfare, Onslaught or even Mario Kart.

I've had problems with plenty of Wii games online (which is why I usually stick to the Xbox360 for that), but never as many as with the Conduit. I only rented the game for a week but hit numerous bumps during that time. I was kind of hoping it was just an early snag in the experience.

no i never had this happen i play on the time on the conduit but sometimes it will spawn in a middle of a level and cant do anything intill its over

I finally received my copy today, it better works!
