I got a Wii controller Classic and It does not fit into the bottom of my wii remote like it should, it has a different plugging in thingy and when I plug it in the top of my wii it still does not work.

How can I solve this?
thank you

the control plugs into the bottom of the wiimote not console itself, it should just click in if they are both official parts I don't see why it wouldn't work unless one of them is damaged.

Don't try too hard. That could be the problem.

@ImAWiiUser11: Try turning it around the other way and see if it fits.

if its that one it connects to the wiimote

Untitled
if its that one it connect to the side of the wii under the plastic flaps to the side, unless you have a newer wii which doesn't have that

Well seems you got ripped, because that controller is not right at all. You're gonna have to buy another one

@ImAWiiUser11: sorry we're all so skeptical, but is it possible for you to post an image showing that cord coming from that controller?
edit wait, nm — Reala found us a possible reason you could be having trouble with your controller: http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00jvVTHqwlrFcU/Gamecube-Cl...

bottom line: only purchase official Nintendo products for your consoles. I'd take it back and try to get a proper one if I were you :(

@Dragon But the cord changes color, so we still should get a picture of it to verify if he's screwing with us or not. -.-

There is also this link it seems to be some gamecube controller made to look like a classic controller from some company in China, at least I think that's what it is :/

This is obviously a Gamecube (3rd party) controller. You can play Gamecube- and all Virtual Console games with it. There are other controllers like this on the market and there's nothing wrong with it. (Except if it's broken.)
