You have to call Nintendo to do that. If I remember correctly you also need a copy of the police report to prove that it was stolen for them to swap the NNID from the stolen console.

@Silly_G How exactly are the Police going to help unlink and relink a Nintendo account? Moronic reply part 1.
Part 2 is where you fail to see the point of a forum.
Please stop posting if this is what you're going to do and find something else to do with your day, like play with mud or something less strenuous on your little mind.
@Mattsmash : To obtain a police report so that Nintendo can verify that the console has been stolen Mr. I-created-an-account-solely-to-scold-a-stranger-and-boost-my-ego. Either that or a statutory declaration.
We can't help the OP, but Nintendo and/or the police can.
You're making a mighty fine first impression for yourself there.
First post or not, the way you conducted yourself with the lack of empathy or help was far worse. This is not my first trip round the block, first post or not.
Your post to me was far more insightful than your initial post to the person who actually needed help. Again, showing how moronic your reply was.
Mighty fine impression you make of yourself after so many posts...
@Silly_G Please be aware that this a clean and happy forum. We all share our love for Nintendo and video games and respect each other by trying to resolve their various issue if we can. If we cannot help out we can choose to remain silent and not comment. It's not a troll forum.
Regarding the OP issue now, I'm so sorry that you've had to experience this! I'm pretty sure that if you contact Nintendo they will assist you immediately and help you to link your Nintendo account to your new Wii U console.

@TheCurator : My response was frank and to the point, yes (I guess the self-depracating irony was lost on some people) but I have given the best advice I could without being indulgent to OP's misdirected plea for assistance. If refusing to insult someone's intelligence is considered to be "disrespectul" then I am afraid that you and I have very different ideas as to what constitutes decorum.
There is nothing that we can do for the OP. Plain and simple. I am sympathetic to them, but no futile words of pity are going to resolve this situation. Tech support exists for a reason, and the best people to provide assistance in this situation are Nintendo and/or the relevant law enforcement authorities. Forums are good for requesting advice for matters that can be resolved at the user-level. This is not such a matter.
And I am not the one calling other users "morons", so perhaps you should direct your "troll" remark to the person who had absolutely nothing to add to the conversation other than childish insults.
