So perhaps a few of you around here have seen me post a few pics from past articles I have made concerning the Wii U marketing efforts, and if you havnt you will now if you are reading this. I love my Wii U but Nintendo's marketing efforts are atrocious and lacking when it comes to getting the name and the offerings available. So I came up with the marketing campaign idea of "Unique"
"...The U can mean more then “you”, it can mean Unique (which I think is a better use anyway). The goal of the Unique campaign would be to distinguish between games of the same genre in addition to the quality and offerings that are exclusively available on the Wii U. Ex.
It's a very straightforward idea that gets the message across that what Nintendo offers is not found on other consoles. Part of the key here is not directly attacking Sony and Microsoft, which forces (and endorses) a direct comparison where Nintendo usually looses on the technical aspects but strides in the "fun" department. By pushing this "Unique" message it serves to reinforce its exclusive library of top quality games that can only be found on the Wii U which will push consumers to want a Wii U as their second choice in addition to whatever else they may have ..."

With said idea i decided to go a step farther then just pictures and make a little sizzle real, I admit i am not a editing master, but i think i did quite well for a days worth of effort (could not find pure, untouched trailer videos) so here is just a campaign concept I came up with.
Curious what everyone's opinions & thoughts
*update - A Few have noted its a little long and I agree. I would like to shorten it up also, however to do that I need more footage then trailers. Specifically I need unedited footage with nothing but the actual gameplay sound(no in game music or music added in post). If you have such footage and wish to share, that would be amazing feel free to msg me on twitter concerning this.
You did a really good job. This is a great, it shows a a variety of Unique software exclusive to Wii U. I would like to see a campaign like this but with the integration of software and hardware, to show people why it's unique and why the gamepad makes it so. Also, it makes the name "Wii U" make more sense.
It's good but a little to long and needs some polish. It's better than and of the Nintendo adverts I have seen due to the fact that
IT ACTUALLY SHOWS GAME PLAY FOOTAGE!!!
@LegoNintendo12 If i had the time to do it i would. The whole video advertisement would be much of which i just showed (with a wide array of footage i would have available unlike in this case), then switch to people playing in different environments with the gamepad and end with the whole A unique experience at the end.
@faint Sadly I had problems finding footage that was unaltered and high enough quality, now if you know of such a place I could obtain such things I can make this run together smoother as Il have more footage to work with that would be amazing.
@pntjr I could definitely cut somethings down . But to get it to 1min and look half decent i just need better videos to work (really just raw gameplay footage) so i dont have to worry about sound coming together properly as it isnt tied to the video im using and i can skip off parts of the videos i dont like as the sound staying together isnt a factor.
If anyone has some videos that fit that qualification and is willing to share for this, that would be awesome.
@WingedSnagret its not near complete for an actual pitch, would need to flesh the idea out further and show how It can expand across multiple outlets. It would not be to hard, but it would be time.
Im going to edit the top part, maybe i can get the videos i need to put this together nicer.
