Topic: Wii Fit U Retail US release date?

I see that Europe is getting it on the 13th of December but what about the US?

December 13th is also the US release.

Got delayed again to January 10th.

Where do you see that? I can't find any news on it.

That's too bad, I guess this'll be a late Christmas gift for my wife.

Yeah, Nintendo really missed out on the holiday period. If you can still find Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board or even a used Balance Board or third party board somewhere, you can buy a Fit Meter for $20, and download Wii Fit U now. I bought an Intec Action Board for $15 and downloaded the game because I didn't want to wait for the retail release. The Intec board has worked well but I'm guessing it won't last as long as an official one (I hear the plastic creak sometimes like it's about to break, and I only weigh 65 kg).

I'll end up waiting for the retail disc as I don't want to download the game. She's been using the Wii version right now.

Seems like the type of game you want downloaded though. If its something you everyday there's a big incentive to just have it on the system.
