Topic: Walking Dead

Has anyone played Walking Dead yet? I'm wanting to know if you can use a Wii remote and Nunchuck with it... I like using a gun when playing shooters...

it's supposed to be a VERY crappy game, every review says that.

Yeah if you are going to get a Walking Dead game get the Telltale series one on PC, XBLA or PSN. If you are looking for a good Zombie shooter I suggest if you haven't played it already Left 4 Dead.

i recently started watching the TV Show.. and it's amazing.
never read any of the comics or played a walking game before, but the series is really great, that's for sure

My only exposure to the Walking Dead franchise was the Telltale games. I knew they had a tv series but I never watched it before. I tried to watch the series on Netflix after I finished the Telltale game since I enjoyed it so much. But for some weird reason I just couldn't get into the TV series like I did the game. I dont know why but yeah. Quite honestly I cant wait for season two of the game to come out.

I would guess no since you can't use that option in RE:R for the Wii U and MHU took out the Wiimote/Nunchuk control option. I think Nintendo and other companies are doing away with the Wiimote on the Wii U since the Gamepad is the main controller for the Wii U.

It's possible. It's being published by Activision and their last game supported all usuable controllers.

That would be a dumb move for developers, the Gamepad is nice for the screen and all but it's a huge step backwards for first person shooter games when compared to the Wii remote/Zapper point and shoot. What's next? a new House of the Dead game where you aim with the joystick? yuck...

I agree but it just seems that way. I mean RE:R is not going to have that control scheme yet they did in RE 4 on the Wii. It doesnt make sense but whatever I guess those big companies know whats good for us.

So I'd guess after the chapter 8 of the season 3.....the game is no longer canonical for the show.

Figured as much NL gave this game a 3/10. Think I will stick with the Telltale Series or Left 4 Dead.
