A person who tells people "I don't like Sony's products" a legit response? I mean we are not all green.

I never said I don't like Sony products. I said I don't like Playstation. There's a difference...

My Sony audio receiver costs just as much as a PS4. My money went towards getting my Wii U to put out surround sound, instead of anything ekse Sony has. I also have a $60 pair of Sony speakers, so saying I don't like Sony would be a lie.

Hehehehehehe ya....hehehehe stupid dumb dumb PS4 owners buying next-gen ports of old games...hehehehehe

@JohnRedcorn You're not funny at all.... Wind Waker released on Gamecube.... Tomb Raider released on 360, PC, and PS3 not even that long ago.... Wind Waker HD was ported to Wii U. It did not come to the Wii.... Tomb Raider can easily be bought for less than 20 dollars on last gen consoles but TR: DE costs 60 for current gen.... You can easily find TR cheap for last gen consoles.....
You're really not funny.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

Wii U has more games than PS4, so it just makes PS fans look like hypocrites, because they basically did the same thing Nintendo fans did to support Wii U.

To be fair, a console is a long-term investment. It makes a lot more sense to go with the console whose hardware and promise impress you the most. If you're a fan of Playstation exclusive IPs, and/or you're interested in getting the most "future-proof" of the new home consoles, it makes a lot of sense to purchase a PS4. It makes no sense to buy one console or another just because they currently have more games out for it than the one you're interested in. The games will come. You want to have the right platform for the games you want when they are released.

For me, I've gradually grown to love the creativity and sheer joy of Nintendo's exclusive IPs, and I love the idea of the GamePad, even if they haven't really figured out how to maximize its potential yet, so the Wii U is definitely what I'm going for.

That is an valid point as well. This one of the reasons why console gamers don't want to switch over to PC but I still say PC is better investment due to BC unless you have to upgrade specific hardware or 64-bit to 128-bit OS that make games incompatible in the future. I have no worry about losing my games when I upgrade to new hardware and also I might play those old games in better performance, resolution, FPS, and etc. Also everyone need an PC now a day anyway unless you can replaced your computer with an smart device. I used my PC for browser, watching movies, listen to music, playing games, and why not put everything in one spot? Some PC games are actually cheaper than the same games selling on consoles. This is just my opinion.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

@Blast No, his point still stands. Nintendo expected an updated remake would help sell a console. In fact, they really expected games like Assassin's Creed III, Mass Effect 3, and Bat Man: Arkham City would sell the Wii U at launch. And there were people who bought them, too. So no need to go talking like the PS4 owners are the only ones who are "desperate".

That still didn't stop trolls from lingering in Nintendo communities. I know it's not against the law, but it's still annoying.

I completely understand why PS fans want a PS4. it's just hypocritical and annoying when people troll about stuff that ends up applying to them as well. "Wii U has no games" = "Neither does PS4".

@CanisWolfred ... Are we really gonna compare Wind Waker HD to Tomb Raider: DE? Seriously? I think TR: DE is a complete ripoff but it got really good sales. If the game released for 40 bucks I would buy it but 60 bucks for a game I could easily get for PS3 for less than 20 bucks? C'mon, now.

Except when people say "No games" They mean "No games that make we want X console." You know, "Must-haves". That differs for everyone, of course, but that's where it helps to have more games on the horizon, so people can see when a console is at least going to have a "Must-have" sooner than later.

I already called this PS4 sells 20-30 million in its first year. PS4 won this gen when they announced the price point of only $399.

I know, but people were still comparing it to software that wouldn't even be oit for another 1-2 years, or consoles that weren't even announced, for that matter.

Hell, people were comparing Wii U's library to Xbox 360 and PS3's, as if it the quantity was any indication of which has a better library.

If that isn't annoying, then I don't know what is.

Based on their current sales, your prediction is off by at least 8 million.

aren't you doing exactly the same thing by comparing PS4 library to Wii U which have been out for a year longer.....

Yes you did. You literally said they are desparate. "A developer could literally release a next gen port of Bioshock Infinite or anything like that during this drought for PS4 owners and they would go out and buy the game." is what you said. If that's not supposed to be interpreted as "PS4 Owners are desparate", then I'm a monkey's uncle. And yes, You can get Wind Waker for less than the asking price of the remake. That game sold very well back in the day, it's not that hard to get a copy these days. I've sold the game before and I found it for $20 just a few years with no effort whatsoever, I see it in stores around here all the time. Plenty of people have already played it. It's a fair comparison.

That is like comparing Xbox One's or PS4's library with the Wii's library. Those crazy people!

Fanboys will be fanboys. Aside from a few exceptions, consoles usually suck in their first year of life.

It actually makes sense why PS4 is winning thus far. Wii U is underpowered and crippled by its lack of access to multi-plats. Xbox One seems to underperform on multiplats when compared to PS4 and got a bad start due to Microsoft's inane strategy of marketing it as a futuristic DVR.

What will ultimately matter is software library and actualization of potential, of course. Will the Gaikai streaming service ever turn into anything big or impressive? Will it interface more impressively with the PS Vita as time goes on? Will it get GREAT exclusives that define a console generation?

You have to admit, though, PR-wise, Sony is off to a great start.

@CanisWolfred I respect you but man... I gotta disagree with you about comparing Wind Waker HD to TR: DE. I understand your point but I disagree. I don't think its a fair comparison. One game originally released some months ago and another game originally released some years ago.

Prerty much, except I wasn't and am not making wild claims as far as 1-2 years in advanced. I used to think Wii U would sell better, but I think that sort of thinking is what got more people out to buy the other consoles.

@Super_Gravy
Kind of. People are still comparing Wii U to Xbox 360/PS3 and Wii. Wii is part of the reason why Wii U will probably never meet expectations in the first place. Kind of like how 3DS isn't meeting DS numbers(which is a problem for Nintendo), but it's still the best selling handheld that's current.

@Blast I know you don't keep up with other consoles, but GOTY/"Deluxe Editions" have been a thing these past few years, and they tend to sell well. That's what that Tomb Raider: DE is. A Deluxe Edition. It's not the same exact game, it's the game with additional content.

I suppose. Whenever I see Sony announce something, I usually don't care or I can see what made them make that move. Like when Microsoft said DRM, Sony trolled and did a quick take back stage of lending a game. There wasn't even any question about DRM for Nintendo, but for Sony fans, that was still a big deal.

Sony does cater to fans the most, IMO, but that still doesn't change that I think Nintendo is doing what I enjoy more.
